Advantage Energy

Advantage Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based natural gas and liquids producer focused on the Montney formation in Alberta. The company has decades of drilling inventory on its 226 net sections of land and infrastructure including its flagship 425 mmcf/d Glacier gas plant. 

The company's assets are all located in northwest Alberta's Montney fairway, recognized as one of the most economic basins in North America. Advantage holds a dominant position in its Glacier, Valhalla, Progress, and Wembley areas and continues to grow production through an efficient capital program. As of year-end 2022, Advantage had over 1,900 net future drilling locations identified across multiple horizons.

In addition to its core natural gas and liquids business, Advantage is advancing carbon capture and storage development through its subsidiary Entropy Inc. Entropy's proprietary solvent-based technology has been demonstrated to achieve best-in-class emissions performance at Advantage's Glacier gas plant and is currently focused on commercializing its carbon capture expertise and believes considerable opportunity exists across industries.

With its profitable base production, infrastructure control and modal optionality, Advantage employs a disciplined strategy focused on generating free cash flow and enhancing per-share metrics. The company strategic focus are on AFF per share growth and targets 65,000 to 68,000 BOE/d by 2024.
