Atacama Copper Corp is a resource company focused on acquiring, exploring, and developing base and precious metals properties in the Americas. Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, the company is primarily focused on copper with its main project being the Placeton/Caballo Muerto copper project located in northern Chile.

The Placeton/Caballo Muerto project is an early-stage exploration project investigating several porphyry copper targets. It is situated between the giant Relincho deposit owned by Teck Resources and Newmont's El Morro/La Fortuna copper-gold project, highlighting the prospectivity of the region. The proposed acquisition of TCP1 would diversify Atacama Copper's assets and create a multi-asset company focused on exploration and development in Chile and Mexico.
