KOSMOS ENERGY

Kosmos Energy is an international oil and gas exploration and production company focused on offshore projects in Africa and the Gulf of Mexico. The company has discovered world-scale resources of oil and gas offshore Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritania, Senegal, and the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

Kosmos has reached first production at the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project offshore Mauritania and Senegal which will produce gas to supply domestic and export markets. The company also has a major operated oil field offshore Ghana called Jubilee with gross production of around 100,000 barrels per day. Additional near-term growth is expected from the new Jubilee South East development area.

In Senegal, Kosmos has made multi-TCF natural gas discoveries at Yakaar-Teranga and plans further appraisal and development. The company also has exploration licenses with significant resource potential offshore Sao Tome and Principe. In the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Kosmos operates several oil fields and has exploration prospect Tiberius following a recent discovery.

With a combination of producing assets and visible near-term growth alongside longer-term exploration upside, Kosmos Energy is in the intermediate development and production stage as it continues to prove up and produce its extensive oil and gas resources.
