Latin Resources Limited

Latin Resources Limited is a mineral exploration company focused on lithium. The company's flagship project is the Salinas Lithium Project, located in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The Salinas Lithium Project contains a large spodumene resource, with the latest mineral resource estimate reporting 45.2Mt @ 1.34% Li2O with 67% of the resource is the measured and Indicated categories. Significant potential remains to expand the resource along strike and at depth.

PEA completed in September 2023 for a conventional open pit and processing facility, mine operations is optimized to produce  4.45Mt of SC5.5 and 1.35Mt of SC3, averaging approximately 405,000tpa of SC5.5 and 123,000tpa of SC3 over the LOM. The project demonstrates robust economics including an NPV of AUD$3.6 billion and IRR of 132%.

Latin Resources is now progressing a Definitive Feasibility Study due in mid-2024, with the aim of commencing production at Salinas in 2026 to establish itself as a major new supplier of lithium to rapidly growing markets with a current market capitalization of approximately AUD$720 million.
