Nova Royalty Corp. is a royalty company focused on copper and nickel deposits. Incorporated in British Columbia, Canada in 2018, The company has a portfolio of royalties on development and exploration stage projects located primarily in major mining jurisdictions in Canada, United States, South America and Australia. 

The company’s royalty portfolio is currently anchored by its NSR royalties on the Josemaria copper-gold project in Argentina owned by Lundin Mining (TSX:LUN), the Copper World complex in Arizona USA owned by Hudbay Minerals (TSX:HBM), and the producing Aranzazu Mine in Mexico owned by Aura Minerals (TSX:ORA).

Nova Royalty’s Josemaria royalty hosts proven and probable mineral reserves of 1.0 billion tonnes grading 0.30% copper, 0.22 g/t gold, and 0.94 g/t silver containing 7.3 billion pounds of copper, 7 million ounces of gold, and 30 million ounces of silver. The Nova Copper World royalty is a 0.165% NSR royalty on Hudbay’s Copper World Complex which contains a large-scale development project with a PFS in progress with 100k-130k tonnes per day throughput. The Aranzazu Mine is an underground copper-gold-silver mine that has been in operation since 2010, and Nova’s royalty entitles Nova to 1.0% of the NSR on copper sold from the mine.

Nova intends to continue consolidating royalties on developing and exploration copper and nickel projects to build a diversified portfolio of assets and with a strong supportive shareholder base, the company is well positioned to continue acquiring royalties and grow its business.
