Odyssey Marine Exploration

Odyssey Marine Exploration, Inc. is a deep-ocean exploration company focused on the discovery and development of subsea mineral resources. Odyssey utilizes innovative techniques and technologies to conduct deep-ocean mineral exploration, shipwreck exploration, and marine survey and exploration charter services.

Odyssey's main mineral project is the Don Diego West phosphorite deposit located in the Mexican Exclusive Economic Zone of the Pacific Ocean, approximately 40 kilometers off the coast of Baja California Sur, Mexico at a depth of about 80 meters. The concession area spans over 114,000 hectares with high-grade phosphate rock that can be extracted through standard dredging methods. Independent analysis estimated the concession could contain over 588 million tonnes of phosphate resources.

With a long history of deep-ocean exploration, including valuable shipwreck discoveries. Odyssey is now focused on the environmentally and socially responsible development of critical mineral resources needed for the green economy. The company is currently at a pre-revenue stage as it works through the legal and permitting process to develop the Don Diego deposit. Odyssey 

also has early-stage exploration projects focused on other critical mineral resources such as gold, copper, and zinc in offshore areas of Papua New Guinea and other regions, and provides marine services to third parties through its suite of deep-ocean technologies and specialized vessels.
