Orogen Royalties Inc. is a project generator focused on organic royalty creation in precious and base metal projects throughout the Americas. The company leverages its exploration expertise to acquire royalties on prospective early-stage exploration properties and partners with other mining companies to advance these projects in exchange for royalty interests.
Orogen’s flagship royalty assets include a 2% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on the producing Ermitaño gold-silver mine in Sonora, Mexico operated by First Majestic Silver Corp., as well as a 1% NSR royalty on AngloGold Ashanti Limited’s Silicon gold project in Nevada, USA. Total gold resources currently stand at 4.22 million ounces indicated at Silicon, with additional exploration upside from AngloGold’s adjacent Merlin target.
In addition to its producing and development-stage royalties, Orogen manages a portfolio of exploration royalties in the western USA and Canada. The company has partnered projects in Nevada, British Columbia, and the Yukon under option to companies including Barrick Gold, I-80 Gold, and K2 Gold. Orogen’s royalty generation business model provides shareholders with exposure to exploration upside funded through partner companies.
With over $17 million in working capital, no debt, and a diversified royalty portfolio, Orogen Royalties offers leverage to gold and silver exploration, development, and production in mining-friendly North American jurisdictions.
