Rock Tech Lithium Inc. is a Canada-based lithium development company focused on developing its wholly-owned Georgia Lake spodumene project located in Ontario, Canada.
The Georgia Lake spodumene project holds a total indicated mineral resource of 10.6MT at grading 0.88% Li2O and total inferred mineral resources of 4.2MT at grading of 1.00% Li2O. Rock Tech plans to build an open-pit mine and concentrator at the site to produce spodumene concentrate, which would then be shipped overseas to the Company's planned converters for further processing into battery-grade lithium hydroxide.
In addition to the Georgia Lake Project, Rock Tech is developing a lithium hydroxide converter and refinery facility in Guben, Germany to process spodumene concentrate to produce 24,000 tonnes per year of battery-grade lithium hydroxide for the European electric vehicle market. Site preparation and construction of the Converter commenced in 2023.
Rock Tech also expanded its lithium development pipeline through an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Boston Lake lithium project, located in Ontario, Canada. The project adds further lithium potential to the Company's assets as it works towards establishing an integrated lithium producer in North America and Europe. Overall, Rock Tech Lithium is focused on developing assets and downstream processing capability to establish a localized source of lithium supply for the surging electric vehicle market.
