Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Water Ways has installed numerous irrigation projects internationally, covering areas such as vineyards, cotton, apples, oranges, blueberries, and medical cannabis as well as fresh produce cooling rooms across countries that include China, Canada, Argentina, and Mexico. The company operates through two business units: the Projects Business Unit which provides turn-key irrigation project services; and the Component and Equipment Sales Unit which provides the core components for irrigation projects.

The company’s sales were CAD$6.4M and gross margin of 17.3%  for the six months period ended June 30, 2023, while reduced its marketing, general and administrative expenses by 11% for the six months period ended June 30, 2023, as compared with June 30, 2022.

At present, Water Ways generates the majority of its revenue from its Projects Business Unit while also selling components and equipment to customers. The company is working to capitalize on the growing opportunities presented by micro and smart irrigation, especially in developing agricultural markets in Africa and Latin America along with more established markets like China and Canada.
