Li-FT Power Delivers High-Grade Lithium Drill Results in February 2024

Li-FT Power reports high-grade Li drill results from its Yellowknife Project in February 2024.

  • Li-FT Power is a mineral exploration company focused on high-quality lithium pegmatite projects in Canada
  • Flagship project: Yellowknife Lithium Project (YLP) in the Northwest Territories, with additional early-stage projects in Quebec and the Cali Project in the Northwest Territories
  • Experienced management team and strong financial position
  • Aggressive exploration program underway to expand known lithium mineralization along strike and at depth
  • February 2024 drill highlights include high-grade intersections at Fi Southwest (22 m at 1.05% Li2O), Nite (15 m at 1.0% Li2O), Ki (13 m at 1.11% Li2O), BIG West (11 m at 0.74% Li2O), and Fi Boye (4 m at 1.11% Li2O) pegmatites

About Li-FT Power

Li-FT Power Ltd. (TSXV: LIFT) (OTCQX: LIFFF) (Frankfurt: WS0) is a mineral exploration company focused on acquiring, exploring, and developing high-quality lithium pegmatite projects in Canada. The company's flagship project is the Yellowknife Lithium Project (YLP) located near the city of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Li-FT Power also holds three early-stage exploration properties in Quebec with excellent potential for buried lithium pegmatites, as well as the Cali Project in the Northwest Territories within the Little Nahanni Pegmatite Group.

February Drill Results

Throughout February 2024, Li-FT Power released a series of impressive drill results from its ongoing exploration program at the Yellowknife Lithium Project. These results demonstrate the consistent high-grade nature of the lithium mineralization across multiple pegmatite targets within the project area.

Fi Southwest Pegmatite (Feb 27)

On February 27, Li-FT Power announced the first drill hole from the 2024 winter program at the Fi Southwest pegmatite. Hole YLP-0199 intersected 22 m at 1.05% Li2O, including a higher-grade interval of 9 m at 1.87% Li2O. This hole was drilled approximately 150 m from the northern mapped extent of the Fi Southwest dyke and 50 m beneath the surface, confirming the presence of significant shallow mineralization over a strike length of at least 900 m.

Nite Pegmatite (Feb 13 & 27)

The Nite pegmatite continued to deliver impressive results in February. On February 13, hole YLP-0177 intersected 11 m at 1.52% Li2O, located approximately 600 m from the southern mapped extent of the dyke and 100-150 m below surface. This hole was drilled between two previously released high-grade intersections, confirming the continuity of mineralization.

Later in the month, on February 27, hole YLP-0195 returned 15 m at 1.0% Li2O, including 8 m at 1.26% Li2O. This hole tested the Nite pegmatite 250 m beneath the surface and 200 m down-dip of a previous high-grade intersection. These results demonstrate the potential for significant mineralization at depth along the Nite pegmatite.

Ki Pegmatite (Feb 6)

On February 6, Li-FT Power reported two significant intersections from the Ki pegmatite. Hole YLP-0184 returned 13 m at 1.11% Li2O, located 500 m northwest of any previous drilling and confirming the presence of spodumene mineralization over a strike length of at least 900 m. Hole YLP-0171 intersected 12 m at 1.21% Li2O, approximately 400 m from the southern mapped extent of the Ki pegmatite and 150 m below surface.

BIG West Pegmatite (Feb 27)

Drilling at the BIG West pegmatite on February 27 returned an intercept of 11 m at 0.74% Li2O, including 4 m at 1.48% Li2O, in hole YLP-0191. This hole targeted the east-bounding dyke within the BIG West complex, approximately 200 m from its northern mapped extent and 25-50 m below surface.

Fi Boye Pegmatite (Feb 27)

The first drill results from the Fi Boye pegmatite were reported on February 27, with hole YLP-0189 intersecting 4 m at 1.11% Li2O. This hole tested the dyke approximately 200 m from its northern mapped extent and 50 m beneath the surface, confirming the presence of significant lithium mineralization in this new target area.

Conclusion

The February 2024 drill results from Li-FT Power's Yellowknife Lithium Project underscore the impressive potential of this emerging lithium district. With consistent high-grade intersections across multiple pegmatite targets, including the Fi Southwest, Nite, Ki, BIG West, and Fi Boye dykes, the company is well-positioned to continue expanding the known mineralization both along strike and at depth.

As Li-FT Power progresses with its aggressive exploration program, investors should keep a close eye on this exciting story. The company's experienced management team, strong financial position, and promising early results make it a compelling investment opportunity in the rapidly growing lithium sector.

With the increasing global demand for lithium driven by the accelerating adoption of electric vehicles and renewable energy storage systems, companies like Li-FT Power are at the forefront of the green energy revolution. As the company continues to unlock the potential of its extensive land package in the Northwest Territories and Quebec, it is well-positioned to become a significant player in the Canadian lithium industry.
