ONGold Kicks Off 2026 Exploration Season at Northern Ontario Gold Project

2026 Phase 1 Field Exploration Programme Commences at Gold Ridge, TPK

ONGold began its 2026 field season at Gold Ridge in May, with Phase 1 designed to refine the geological understanding of the area ahead of a second phase of drilling later in the year. The programme covers two mineralised zones confirmed during 2025: the Discovery Zone, where high-grade gold was intersected, and the West Discovery Zone, which returned copper-silver-gold results in the same campaign.

Phase 1 includes a Fixed Loop Time-Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) survey over and around the West Discovery Zone. This type of ground geophysical survey maps conductive rock bodies underground and is intended to identify potential extensions of the massive sulphide mineralisation, referring to dense concentrations of metal-bearing minerals, intersected in 2025 drilling. A gravity survey across the broader Gold Ridge area will help define the underlying rock structure and identify contacts between different rock types.

Detailed geological mapping and prospecting along the known mineralised corridors will be conducted alongside a soil sampling orientation survey, which will evaluate whether gold anomalies, meaning areas with above-normal gold concentrations in surface soils, can be traced across the property. Results from these surveys will be used to prioritise drill targets for Phase 2.

2025 Drill Results and Geological Interpretation Informing the 2026 Programme

ONGold's 2025 diamond drilling programme at Gold Ridge comprised nine holes over 2,169 metres. Results confirmed gold mineralisation at the Discovery Zone and a separate copper-silver-gold signature at the West Discovery Zone, indicating the presence of a multi-metal system across the property.

At the Discovery Zone, hole GR-25-011 returned 19.39 g/t gold (grams per tonne) and 1.0 g/t silver over 8.2 metres, including a higher-grade interval of 308 g/t gold and 14.6 g/t silver over 0.3 metres. At the West Discovery Zone, hole GR-25-012 intersected 3.06% copper, 60.3 g/t silver, and 1.50 g/t gold over 1.5 metres, including 11.1% copper, 218 g/t silver, and 4.45 g/t gold over 0.4 metres. A separate hole, GR-25-013, returned additional copper-gold-silver values approximately 110 metres to the east.

Geologists have interpreted these results as evidence of an intrusive-hosted, orogenic-style copper-gold system, a type of deposit associated with ancient tectonic activity. A roughly 1,500-metre corridor between the Discovery Zone and the West Discovery Zone has not yet been tested by drilling.

Phase 2 Drill Programme Planning and New Access Corridor Opportunity

Phase 2 drilling is planned for August or September 2026, following compilation and interpretation of Phase 1 results. The programme is expected to test extensions of mineralisation at both the Discovery Zone and the West Discovery Zone, as well as any additional targets identified during Phase 1 fieldwork.

A separate development has added prospecting ground to the 2026 programme. During the winter, a local First Nations community undertook a fibre optic infrastructure project that created a new 20-metre-wide, 19-kilometre-long access corridor running north to south through the central portion of the TPK property. During a site visit in March 2026, ONGold observed that construction activity had exposed fresh bedrock outcrops near the West Discovery Zone, areas that were previously inaccessible. These outcrops will be evaluated during the June Phase 1 programme through prospecting and sampling.
