Ioneer Company Overview

Ioneer Ltd (ASX:INR) is an Australian-based company focused on developing its Rhyolite Ridge lithium-boron project located in Nevada, USA. The project contains a large lithium and boron mineral resource, with 3.4 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent and 14.1 million tonnes of boric acid.

The Rhyolite Ridge project is currently at the final stage of permitting, with key federal permits expected in 2024. Detailed engineering and design work is approximately 70% complete.

The planned Rhyolite Ridge operation comprises an open-pit mine and processing facility designed to produce 22,000 tonnes per annum of battery-grade lithium carbonate as well as 174,000 tonnes per annum of boric acid over an initial 26-year mine life.

Through partnerships with Ford, Toyota/Panasonic, and EcoPro as well as financing commitments from Sibanye-Stillwater and the U.S. Department of Energy, there is significant potential to expand production in the future through additional mineralization which positions Ioneer to support lithium demand growth from the U.S. electric vehicle industry.
