K2 Gold Corporation

K2 Gold is a mineral exploration company focused on gold projects located in Alaska and the Southwest US. The company's flagship asset is the Mojave project in California, which hosts a Carlin-style oxide gold system.

Recent drilling at Mojave has intercepted thick intervals of oxide gold mineralization at shallow depths, highlighted by an intersection of 61.2 metres grading 1.2 g/t gold. Results to date could suggest potential for a sizeable oxidized gold deposit amenable to heap leach mining.

The Mojave project encompasses 145 km2 of highly prospective ground with geological similarities to major gold regions in Nevada. Several large exploration targets around the existing discovery demonstrate potential for new oxide gold discoveries.

In Alaska, K2 Gold also controls the Wels gold project located in the prolific Tintina Gold Belt. Wels exhibits a high-grade gold footprint across a 10 km mineralized trend with expansion potential from current resources.
