Sound Energy

Sound Energy plc is a Morocco-focused upstream gas company targeting the development of material gas discoveries in the Tendrara licence. The company's lead asset is the Tendrara TE-5 production concession, which hosts the Tendrara gas field with certified 2C recoverable gas resources of 377 Bcf.

Sound Energy operates two gas development projects within the Tendrara licence: a Phase 1 micro-LNG development scheduled for first gas in 2024, and a Phase 2 central processing facility and export pipeline development aimed at supplying natural gas into Morocco's national infrastructure. The company also retains a 75% interests in the Anoual (1 well drilled), Sidi Moktar (44 wells drilled), and Grand Tendrara (8 wells drilled) exploration permits adjoining its production concession.

Sound Energy's gas developments are located onshore in Eastern Morocco, approximately 120km southeast of the city of Tendrara. There is strong support from both project partners and the Moroccan government for directing domestic gas production to aid the country's energy transition from imported fuels.

With a focused operational strategy built on its Moroccan gas assets, Sound Energy offers investors leverage exposure to strategically significant energy developments in Morocco. The company's near-term milestones point towards revenue generation while exploration upside provides longer-term growth potential.
