Strathmore Plus Uranium is focused on exploring for uranium in Wyoming, which has historically been one of the largest uranium producing jurisdictions in the U.S. The company is advancing projects in the Shirley Basin and Gas Hills districts, where over 250 million pounds of uranium has been mined historically.
The Night Owl project is a former small scale producing uranium mine that was shut down decades ago due to low uranium prices. Strathmore believes the area has not been properly explored with modern techniques and sees exploration potential. At the Agate project, the company is interpreting historical drill data on the property and plans to permit drilling in 2023.
Strathmore also holds the Beaver Rim project located adjacent to Cameco’s assets in the Gas Hills district. The company has received permits and plans 30,000 feet of drilling at Beaver Rim this year. In addition, Strathmore plans to advance exploration at the Night Owl project.
With uranium demand growing and supply constrained, Strathmore aims to capitalize on the favorable backdrop by advancing exploration on its Wyoming focused uranium portfolio.
