Canada Nickel Delivers Additional Positive Drill Results at Mann Property

Canada Nickel's latest drilling at Mann property delivers new nickel discovery at Mann Central over 2.5km and extends mineralization at Mann Northwest to 2.7km, demonstrating district potential across 25km+ ultramafic trend.

  • New nickel discovery at Mann Central over 2.5 km strike length
  • Extended mineralization at Mann Northwest to 2.7 km strike length
  • Five total targets at Mann, each larger than flagship Crawford deposit
  • Combined ultramafic strike length over 25 km across Mann property
  • Results continue to demonstrate district-scale potential

About Canada Nickel

Canada Nickel Company Inc. (TSXV: CNC) is advancing next-generation nickel-sulfide projects to deliver the nickel required for electric vehicle and stainless steel markets. With its 100% owned flagship Crawford Nickel-Cobalt project in Timmins, Canada Nickel has applied to trademark NetZero Nickel and is pursuing the development of zero-carbon nickel production.

These latest drill results from the Mann joint venture property add to the potential district-scale opportunity for investors. With a geophysical footprint exceeding Crawford across multiple targets, Mann and Canada Nickel’s adjacent properties offer substantial exploration upside.

Mann Property Overview

The Mann property is a joint venture with Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. located just 22 km from Canada Nickel’s Crawford deposit. It contains three ultramafic bodies larger than Crawford, with a total strike length over 25 km.

The initial 15-hole drill program focused on two areas: Mann Northwest and Mann Central. Assay results confirm the discovery of nickel mineralization at both targets. These compelling results will be followed up with continued exploration across Mann in 2024.

Mann Northwest Results

Eight out of nine holes at Mann Northwest intersected nickel mineralization along a 2.7 km strike length, with widths over 500 meters. The mineralization occurs along a folded structure that remains open in all directions.

Highlight nickel intervals included 395 meters at 0.20% nickel in hole MAN23-06 and 262 meters at 0.15% nickel in hole MAN23-15.

In addition to nickel, all drill holes intersected well-mineralized chromite and magnetite bands as well as platinum group metals (PGMs). The PGMs were associated with highly serpentinized zones of peridotite and pyroxenite.

Mann Central Results

At Mann Central, all six drill holes delineated nickel mineralization across a strike length of 2.5 km and 600 meter width. As with Mann Northwest, the structure remains open along strike and at depth.

Drilling encountered primarily well-serpentinized peridotite and dunite units with visible sulphide mineralization. Widths ranged from 160 to 391 meters, with grades between 0.17% and 0.24% nickel. PGMs were also present, related to a pyroxenite layer which returned a 28.5 meter section grading 0.55 g/t platinum+palladium.

2024 Exploration Upside

CEO Mark Selby noted these targets at Mann Northwest and Central account for only 2 out of 5 total targets on the property, with tremendous expansion possible.

The three untested targets are Mann Southeast, Newmarket and Reaume – each also exceeding the footprint of Crawford. Following up these exceptional early results, Canada Nickel will continue exploration across the 25+ kilometer ultramafic trend through 2024.

Conclusion

With district scale potential confirmed by this initial drilling, the Mann project delivers substantial leverage for Canada Nickel investors. The sheer size of the mineralized system across multiple targets provides room for significant resource growth over the long-term.

As Canada Nickel continues unlocking value across its Timmins nickel district holdings, Mann and the nearby high-potential exploration properties offer tremendous upside potential. Investors have reason to be excited by the future potential as drilling continues to demonstrate the immense endowment of nickel and PGMs at Mann.
