Empress Royalty Reports Record First Quarter Revenue and Gross Profit for 2026

Empress Royalty Corp. reported record quarterly revenue and gross profit for the first quarter of 2026 and reaffirmed its full-year guidance.

  • Quarterly revenue reached US$9.06 million, compared with US$2.70 million in the first quarter of 2025.
  • Gross profit was US$6.75 million, compared with US$1.80 million in the same period last year.
  • Net income for the quarter totalled US$3.30 million, compared with US$2.80 million a year earlier.
  • Cash and gold and silver holdings increased by US$11.09 million during the quarter, bringing total liquid metals holdings to US$19.40 million.
  • Empress reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 guidance, maintaining its outlook for attributable gold equivalent ounces of between 7,045 and 7,430 ounces.

Empress Royalty Corp. (TSXV: EMPR | OTCQX: EMPYF) is a Canada-based royalty and streaming company that provides investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of gold and silver assets. Empress provides funding to mining businesses developing or producing precious metals projects that require additional capital without diluting their ownership. In return, Empress receives a share of future production or revenue from these projects. Empress has a strategic partnership with Endeavour Financial, which provides access to global investment opportunities and mining finance expertise. Empress focuses on its royalty and streaming model to generate value for shareholders.

Record Quarterly Revenue and Gross Profit Driven by Strong Gold and Silver Prices Across the Royalty Portfolio

Empress reported quarterly revenue of US$9.06 million, compared with US$2.70 million in the first quarter of 2025. Gross profit rose to US$6.75 million from US$1.80 million over the same period. Empress attributed the increase to strong gold and silver prices and contributions from its existing royalty and streaming agreements.

Adjusted EBITDA, a measure of earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation that reflects cash generated from core operations, was US$5.79 million for the quarter. Net income totalled US$3.30 million, compared with US$2.80 million in the first quarter of 2025.

CEO and President Alexandra Woodyer Sherron stated:

"Our exceptional first-quarter results reflect the continued strength and scalability of the Empress business model, building on the momentum established through our transformational progress in 2025. Supported by strong gold and silver prices and sustained contributions across our portfolio, we achieved record quarterly revenue and gross profit, with revenue increasing more than threefold and gross profit nearly quadrupling compared to the first quarter of 2025."

Liquid Metals Holdings Strengthen Significantly as Cash and Bullion Position Grows to US$19.4 Million

Empress increased its cash and gold and silver holdings by US$11.09 million during the quarter, bringing total liquid metals holdings to US$19.40 million. This position includes cash along with physical gold and silver held by Empress.

Royalty and streaming companies typically hold a portion of their assets in cash and bullion rather than committing capital to mine operations directly. For Empress, this liquid position represents capital available to support new royalty and streaming agreements as part of its ongoing portfolio activity.

CEO and President Alexandra Woodyer Sherron stated:

"We also strengthened our balance sheet by adding US$11 million to our cash and gold and silver holdings during the quarter, bringing total current holdings to US$19.4 million. Combined with growing cash flow generation, this positions Empress to continue executing on disciplined, accretive growth opportunities while enhancing long-term shareholder value."

Full-Year 2026 Guidance Reaffirmed Reflecting Continued Confidence in Portfolio Performance

Empress reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 guidance following its first-quarter results. Empress continues to expect attributable gold equivalent ounces, a unit combining gold and silver production into a single comparable measure, to range between 7,045 and 7,430 ounces for the year. This range was calculated using commodity price assumptions of US$4,000 per ounce for gold and US$70 per ounce for silver.

The guidance is based on operator disclosures, internal analysis of historical performance, and management's understanding of the underlying portfolio assets. It assumes stable or improving operator performance and no major production disruptions during the year.

Empress noted that its first-quarter results were influenced by an increasing trend in gold and silver prices, and that this trend may not continue for the remainder of the year. Empress stated it will review and update its guidance quarterly, or as material events occur, including new investments, operator updates, or changes in commodity markets.

Empress reported revenue and gross profit growth for the first quarter of 2026, alongside an increase in its cash and bullion holdings to US$19.40 million. Empress has reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 guidance and stated that it will continue to review its outlook on a quarterly basis or as material developments occur.
