enCore Energy Reports Initial Drilling Results Extending Uranium Mineralization at Alta Mesa East

enCore Energy's initial drilling at Alta Mesa East confirms uranium mineralization extending 3,700 feet from existing wellfields, with six rigs active and results pending.

  • Initial drilling at the Alta Mesa East ("AME") property confirmed uranium mineralization extending more than 3,700 feet east of the nearest existing wellfield.
  • Of the first 17 holes reported, 10 returned mineralization, with six holes posting Grade Thickness ("GT") values between 0.351 and 2.297, above the 0.3 threshold considered suitable for wellfield inclusion.
  • The highest result, hole 12-8, returned a GT of 2.297 within the Middle C Lower sand.
  • Mineralization was identified within four saturated sandstone horizons of the Goliad Formation, generally between 400 and 520 feet below surface.
  • Six drilling rigs remain active across the 5,900-acre AME property, with additional results expected as the program continues.

Initial Drilling Confirms Uranium Mineralization Extending Over 3,700 Feet from Existing Wellfields

enCore's initial exploration drilling at the AME property confirmed uranium mineralization extending more than 3,700 feet east of the nearest active wellfield at Alta Mesa. The drilling targets the continuation of mineralized roll fronts associated with Alta Mesa wellfields 1, 3, 3EXT, 4, 5B, and 7.

Exploration drilling is conducted on 400 and 500 foot centers, with closer spacing in areas where mineralization has been identified. Seven widely spaced east-west drill fences are in progress for regional characterization, with holes averaging approximately 600 feet in depth.

William M. Sheriff, Executive Chairman of enCore, stated:

"Our initial drill results from Alta Mesa East have reconfirmed our expectations of encouraging uranium grades across all major mineralized sand units known to exist at Alta Mesa. Uranium extraction efforts from these sand units at the Alta Mesa wellfields have generated solid results, including current operations at wellfield 7. An aggressive drill program is underway with additional results pending."

Multiple Sandstone Horizons Return Grade Thicknesses Suitable for Future Wellfield Inclusion

Drilling identified mineralization across the Middle C and Lower C sands, with potential additional mineralization in the D sands toward the northeast of the property. Of the 17 holes reported, 10 intersected mineralized material, and six returned GT values ranging from 0.351 to 2.297. A GT of 0.3 or higher is considered suitable for wellfield inclusion.

Hole 12-8 returned the highest GT of 2.297, within the Middle C Lower sand at a depth of approximately 430 feet. Holes 12-7 and 12-41 also returned GT values above 0.9, within the Middle C Upper sand.

Four saturated sandstone horizons within the Goliad Formation, located between approximately 400 and 520 feet below surface, have been identified as suitable for ISR extraction. The water table is located approximately 180 feet below surface.

Six-Rig Drill Program Continues to Support Permitting and ISR Expansion Plans

Six drilling rigs are currently active across the 5,900-acre AME property. The drilling program is intended to outline mineralization to support permitting and the expansion of ISR operations from the existing Alta Mesa wellfields into the AME property.

John M. Seeley, Ph.D., P.G., C.P.G., enCore's Vice President of Exploration and Production, reviewed and approved the technical disclosure on behalf of the company as a Qualified Person under Canadian National Instrument 43-101 and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission S-K 1300.

The current 17-hole data set represents an initial phase of a larger program, with results from additional holes pending as drilling continues across the property.

Looking Ahead

enCore's drilling program at Alta Mesa East remains active, with six rigs in operation and additional assay results pending. Further results from the program are expected to support permitting efforts for expanding ISR operations adjacent to the existing Alta Mesa wellfields.
