Signal Gold Ramps Up Exploration Program at Nova Scotia Gold Project

Signal Gold Inc. (TSX: SGNL, OTCQX: SGNLF) is a Canadian gold mining company focused on developing its 100% owned Goldboro gold project in Nova Scotia. On June 14th, Signal Gold announced an expanded 10,000 meter diamond drill program at Goldboro, bringing the total meters to 12,000 as part of its largest exploration effort to date.
The expanded program comes on the heels of recent drilling successes immediately west of the project's current mineral resource area. Highlight intercepts include 20.59 g/t gold over 3 meters and 9.46 g/t gold over 2 meters. Signal Gold believes there is strong potential to significantly expand the deposit along the 7.5 kilometer Goldboro trend which extends from the project's proposed open pit mine westward to the past-producing Dolliver Mountain gold mine.
An induced polarization geophysical survey is also underway and will help guide drilling. The drill program will test parallel structures north and south of the known deposit as well as further westward step outs.
With permitting progressing smoothly and strong exploration upside, Signal Gold offers investors an attractive leveraged play on the gold price with exposure to resource expansion at a fully permitted project in a top-tier mining jurisdiction. Interested investors should consider building a position ahead of pending drill results that could demonstrate the large scale potential of the Goldboro gold project.
