Treasury Metals Provides Promising Exploration Results and Summer Program Update

Toronto-based Treasury Metals Inc. (TSX: TML; OTCQX: TSRMF) operates the Goliath Gold Complex in Northwestern Ontario, which includes the Goliath, Goldlund and Miller gold deposits. The company recently announced encouraging drill results from its Fold Nose exploration target, along with an update on its 2023 summer exploration program.

The latest drilling at Fold Nose intersected significant near-surface mineralization, including 27.0 metres grading 1.03 g/t gold starting at only 6 metres depth in hole TL22-641. This hole also contained high-grade intercepts of 4.76 g/t gold over 1.5 metres and 5.60 g/t gold over 1.5 metres. These results are hosted in the same favorable rock unit that contains the Goliath Deposit, indicating exploration upside in the area.

In addition, Treasury completed a 3D IP geophysics survey at Fold Nose to identify potential drill targets at depth. The company's summer prospecting and mapping program is also now underway across priority areas of the Goliath property.

According to President and CEO Jeremy Wyeth, "I am pleased with grades and widths of these new results from Fold Nose, which show near surface mineralization. We know there are narrow high-grade structures in this area from past drill programs, but these new results show us potential new open pit targets at Fold Nose."

With extensive infrastructure already in place, any new discoveries could potentially expand resources and extend the planned Goliath mine life.
