Sitio Royalties Corp. is a mineral and royalty interest acquisition company focused primarily on the consolidation of oil and gas mineral and royalty interests across top-tier, low-cost resource plays in the United States. Sitio is principally focused on acquiring mineral and royalty acreage in the Permian Basin.
Sitio Royalties was formed in 2022 through the merger of Desert Peak Minerals and Falcon Minerals. The company is headquartered in Denver, Colorado with additional offices in Houston and Austin, Texas. As of September 30, 2023, Sitio held mineral and royalty interests on approximately 275,140 net royalty acres across the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford Shale, DJ Basin, Appalachian Basin, Anadarko Basin, and Williston Basin with over 1.3 million gross drilling spacing units acres across the Delaware and 1.0 million gross Midland basins.
In the third quarter of 2023, Sitio's average daily production was 36,654 barrels of oil equivalent per day, of which 50% was oil. Sitio Royalties has over 50.9 net line-of-sight locations, of which 82% were in the Permian Basin. The company has significant remaining net line-of-sight locations that provide visibility into future development and production growth potential.
