F4 Uranium Begins Airborne Survey at Wales Lake to Test for Patterson Lake Corridor Extensions

F4 Uranium Corp. has commenced an airborne geophysical survey at its Wales Lake project in the southwestern Athabasca Basin, targeting extensions of a corridor that hosts two established uranium deposits.

F4 Uranium (TSXV: FFU) is a Canada-based exploration company focused on the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan. The company holds 16 wholly owned properties totalling approximately 157,000 hectares, split between the western and eastern sides of the Basin, with several properties located near established deposits including Paladin Energy's Triple R, NexGen Energy's Arrow, and IsoEnergy's Hurricane. F4's management and exploration team have previously been involved in uranium discoveries in the Basin, including Patterson Lake North and Broach Lake, and the company was formed through a 2024 spinout from F3 Uranium. F4 operates as both an explorer and a project generator across its portfolio.
Airborne Survey Targets Patterson Lake Corridor and Saloon Trend Extensions at Wales Lake
The Mobile MT survey covers the western portion of F4's Wales Lake Project, an area interpreted to lie along the potential extension of two structures in the Athabasca Basin: the Patterson Lake Corridor and the parallel Saloon Trend. The Patterson Lake Corridor hosts NexGen Energy's Arrow deposit and Paladin Energy's Triple R deposit, both within roughly 30 kilometres of Wales Lake. The Saloon Trend hosts Paladin Energy's recently announced Atlas discovery, its 2024 Saloon discovery, and NexGen Energy's Patterson Corridor East discovery.
Mobile MT is an airborne survey method that measures variations in underground electrical resistivity from an aircraft. In the Athabasca Basin, uranium deposits are often associated with structural and alteration zones that produce resistivity changes detectable through this method, allowing large areas to be screened before ground-based follow-up work.
Both the Patterson Lake Corridor and the Saloon Trend are interpreted to trend toward, and potentially through, F4's Todd and Wales Lake properties. The Wales Lake Project spans 40,113 hectares across the wholly owned Wales Lake East and West properties, both permitted and drill ready, with only two historic drillholes completed on the ground to date.
Survey Builds on 2025 Todd Lake Results Identifying Possible Corridor Continuations
The Wales Lake survey follows a 2025 Mobile MT survey at F4's neighbouring Todd Lake Project, located roughly 14 kilometres southwest of the Triple R and Arrow deposits. That survey identified resistivity-low trends consistent with the interpreted strike of the Patterson Lake Corridor, along with possible extensions of the Carter Trends within the Clearwater Domain.
F4 has again contracted Expert Geophysics Surveys Inc., which conducted the 2025 Todd Lake survey, to fly approximately 700 line kilometres at Wales Lake using the same methodology. This is intended to determine whether the trends identified at Todd Lake continue onto the western portion of Wales Lake.
Vice President Exploration Erik Sehn, P.Geo., commented on the programme:
"Last year's Mobile MT survey at Todd Lake picked up resistivity-low trends that line up with the interpreted strike of the Patterson Lake Corridor, and those same features appear to continue toward the western end of Wales Lake. The nearby Tetra Zone discovery, just four kilometres northeast of Todd Lake in the Clearwater Domain, already shows this setting can host high-grade uranium mineralization. This airborne survey is the first step: mapping the corridors geophysically from the air. Based on the results, we will tighten up those targets with ground geophysics, before moving to drill-testing the most prospective of them."
C$1.0 Million Private Placement Funds F4's 2026 Western Athabasca Summer Programme
The Wales Lake survey is funded through a brokered private placement that closed on July 9, 2026, for gross proceeds of C$1.0 million.
It represents the first phase of F4's 2026 summer exploration programme across its western Athabasca portfolio, which includes the Todd Lake and Wales Lake projects.
Additional work on both properties is planned in the coming months as part of this year's field season. CEO Raymond Ashley signed the announcement on behalf of F4's board of directors.
Milestones and Next Steps
The Wales Lake Mobile MT survey is the first stage of F4's planned 2026 western Athabasca exploration programme. Results will inform where the company directs follow-up ground geophysics, which management has identified as the next step in narrowing down targets ahead of potential drill testing. Further updates on the Wales Lake results, along with additional planned work at Todd Lake, are expected in the coming months.
