Kodiak Copper Advances Resource Estimate with Completed Infill Drilling Programme

Kodiak Copper reports infill drilling results from West and South zones, with data to support Q4 2025 initial Mineral Resource Estimate.
- Completed 13 diamond drill holes totalling 1,405 metres across West and South zones during summer 2025 programme
- West Zone drilling intersected 2.11 g/t Au, 0.21% Cu and 1.20 g/t Ag over 7 metres within broader mineralised interval
- South Zone results confirm near-surface mineralisation over 350 metres width with potential for eastward expansion
- All 2025 drilling results will be incorporated into initial Mineral Resource Estimate scheduled for Q4 2025
- Resource estimation work remains on budget and on schedule
Kodiak Copper Corp. (TSX-V: KDK) is a copper exploration company that develops copper porphyry projects in Canada and the United States. The company's primary asset is the MPD copper-gold porphyry project in British Columbia's Quesnel Terrane. Drilling has identified seven mineralised zones across the property. Kodiak delivered an initial resource estimate for four zones in June 2025 and plans to complete a comprehensive estimate incorporating all zones by year-end.
Infill Drilling Results & Mineralisation Confirmation
The summer 2025 programme comprised 10 diamond drill holes totalling 1,173 metres at the West Zone and three holes totalling 232 metres at the South Zone. Results confirmed shallow mineralisation patterns consistent with historical drilling data. Notable intersections at the West Zone included hole AXE-25-009 with 2.11 g/t Au, 0.21% Cu and 1.20 g/t Ag over 7 metres from 84-91 metres depth.
Additional significant results included hole AXE-25-006 with 0.41% Cu, 0.15 g/t Au and 0.90 g/t Ag over 21 metres from 81-102 metres depth. Most drill holes terminated whilst still in mineralisation. West Zone drilling has intersected mineralisation over a 650 by 300 metre area extending from surface to 960 metres depth.
Mineralisation occurs within diorite porphyry, andesitic volcanic rocks, and heterolithic volcaniclastic breccia. Higher grade copper intersections are associated with magnetite-rich mineralisation that includes elevated gold values. The 2025 results will support mineral resource development for the West Zone.
Initial Resource Estimate Development
All results from the 2025 summer drilling programme have been reported and will be used to develop resource estimates for the West, South and Adit zones. This forms part of the initial Mineral Resource Estimate for the MPD Project planned for Q4 2025. Management stated that resource estimation work remains on budget and on schedule.
President and CEO Claudia Tornquist commented:
"The West Zone keeps delivering attractive drill results with this year's programme confirming shallow, gold-rich mineralisation and good grades seen in past drilling. This bodes well for future economics and underscores the West Zone's important role for the full MPD mineral resource estimate expected in the fourth quarter."
The company previously delivered an initial resource estimate for four of seven mineralised zones in June 2025. The comprehensive estimate will incorporate drilling results from the remaining zones, including data from the 2025 exploration programme.
Zone Expansion & Exploration Potential
Three drill holes at the northeastern extension of the South Zone confirmed near-surface mineralisation over approximately 350 metres width. The South Zone consists of altered and mineralised volcanic rocks and altered, coarse-grained monzonite porphyry stocks with predominantly copper mineralisation and lesser gold content. Drilling in this area has been limited, warranting further work to determine mineralisation extent.
The West Zone remains open to the south and west, as well as at depth. Most drill holes ended in mineralisation, indicating the zone extends beyond current drilling boundaries. Tornquist noted:
"At the South Zone, we received encouraging results near surface from an area with very limited drilling, pointing to the potential to expand this already substantial zone. We look forward to drilling this area further."
The South Zone drilling locations are positioned on the eastern side of the zone and indicate potential extension of the mineralisation. Further drilling is required to establish the relationship between this area and the broader South Zone porphyry system.
Conclusion
Kodiak Copper completed its 2025 infill drilling programme at the West and South zones with results confirming shallow mineralisation. The data will be incorporated into the initial Mineral Resource Estimate for the MPD Project scheduled for Q4 2025. Resource estimation work continues on schedule and within budget. Future work includes completing the comprehensive resource estimate and conducting additional drilling to test zone expansion potential.
