CanAlaska Mobilizes for Uranium Drill Program in Athabasca Basin

CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. (TSXV: CVV; OTCQX: CVVUF; Frankfurt: DH7N) has announced the mobilization of crews and equipment for the start of drilling at its 60%-owned Geikie uranium project in the Athabasca Basin. The initial 2,000 metre drill program will test high-priority targets identified along a 15km conductor trend.

CanAlaska is focused on discovering high-grade, basement-hosted uranium deposits in the Basin. The Geikie project is located near recent significant discoveries, underscoring the area's prospectivity. Drilling will target zones of complexity where fault structures disrupt the conductor plates, potentially providing conduits for uranium-bearing fluids.

With strategic land holdings and partnerships with major miners like Cameco, CanAlaska is well positioned for further discoveries in the world’s premier uranium district. This drill program marks an important step towards potential discovery and value creation for investors.
