Frontier Lithium's Lithium Project Shows Strong Potential in Positive Pre-Feasibility Study

Frontier Lithium Inc. (TSXV: FL) is a Canadian mining company focused on becoming an integrated lithium chemicals producer in North America. The company is advancing its flagship PAK Lithium Project in northern Ontario, which contains a premium lithium resource and is one of the largest and highest-grade lithium resources in North America.
The PAK Lithium Project encompasses close to 27,000 hectares and remains largely unexplored. However, since 2013, Frontier has delineated two premium spodumene-bearing lithium deposits at PAK, located 2.3 kilometers apart. Exploration is continuing on the project through two other spodumene-bearing lithium discoveries: the Bolt pegmatite and the Pennock pegmatite.
The PFS demonstrates strong economic potential, with a pre-tax net present value (NPV) of US$2.59 billion at an 8% discount rate and a pre-tax internal rate of return (IRR) of 28.6% over a 24-year mine life. The project would involve an open-pit lithium mine and milling facility at Frontier's 100% owned PAK Lithium Project, located north of Red Lake, Ontario. The spodumene concentrate produced would feed an integrated lithium hydroxide chemical plant, strategically located to supply the rapidly growing North American electric vehicle market.
With initial capital expenditures estimated at US$468 million, the project would have an annual production capacity of 7,360 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate and 12,520 tonnes of battery-grade lithium hydroxide. The lithium chemicals produced are tailored to meet the specifications of electric vehicle original equipment manufacturers operating in North America.
The PFS results demonstrate Frontier Lithium's potential to become a major, low-cost lithium chemicals producer for the electric vehicle supply chain in North America. With strong demand growth projected regionally, the proposed project would capitalise on proximity to emerging local markets and competitive advantages from supportive infrastructure in northern Ontario.
The positive PFS marks a crucial milestone for Frontier Lithium. With robust economics and strategic positioning, the company is focused on advancing the project to a definitive feasibility study while continuing environmental reviews and community partnership initiatives. Investors have an exciting opportunity to get in early with a potential major lithium supplier in a premium mining jurisdiction.
