Li-FT Power Initiates Major 45,000 Meter Drill Program at Flagship Yellowknife Lithium Project

Vancouver-based Li-FT Power (CSE: LIFT, OTC: LIFFF, Frankfurt: WF0) is a mineral exploration company focused on acquiring and developing lithium pegmatite projects in Canada. The company recently announced the launch of an extensive 45,000 meter drill program at its flagship Yellowknife Lithium Project located in the Northwest Territories.
The drill program will target seven high-potential spodumene-bearing pegmatite dyke complexes located just 10km from a paved highway. Historic trench samples from the 1950s-80s demonstrated the presence of lithium grades over 1% Li2O at surface. The company will drill the dykes at 100m spacing to a vertical depth of 300m to delineate an initial inferred resource estimate by mid-2024.
“We believe this is one of the largest exploration drill programs for lithium globally, which we feel is justified by the exceptional exposed spodumene pegmatites across the property,” stated Li-FT CEO Francis MacDonald. “This program will demonstrate the potential scale of the Yellowknife deposit and put us firmly on track to deliver a maiden resource estimate.”
The announcement highlights Li-FT's systematic approach to advancing the district-scale Yellowknife Project. With lithium demand surging, the company is positioned to potentially delineate a major new lithium resource in an attractive mining jurisdiction.
For investors, Li-FT Power represents a compelling lithium exploration play, with strong potential for resource growth and discovery upside. As the drill program ramps up in the coming months, investors should watch for ongoing results which could significantly re-rate the stock.
