ONGold Resources Discovers High-Grade Copper-Silver-Gold Massive Sulphide Zone at TPK Project

ONGold reports copper-silver-gold mineralisation at West Discovery area and extends gold system across 1,500 metres at Gold Ridge property.

  • Massive sulphide zone contains 11.10% copper, 218 grams per tonne silver, and 4.45 grams per tonne gold over 0.4 metres at 225 metres depth
  • Nine-hole autumn 2025 drilling programme totalling 2,169 metres confirms pervasively mineralised system at Gold Ridge area
  • Gold mineralisation extended 1.0 kilometre north from Discovery Zone, with 1,500 metres between zones remaining undrilled
  • Discovery Zone returned 19.39 grams per tonne gold over 8.2 metres, including 308 grams per tonne over 0.3 metres
  • 2026 work programme includes electromagnetic and gravity surveys, geological compilation, till sampling, and drilling

ONGold Resources Ltd. (TSXV:ONAU) is a Toronto-based Canadian mineral exploration company focused on developing high-potential gold assets in Northern Ontario and Manitoba. The company's portfolio includes the Ti-pi-ha-kaa-ning (TPK) Project, Monument Bay Gold and Tungsten Project, Domain Gold Project, and October Gold Project. ONGold operates with technical expertise and engages in partnerships with Indigenous communities in the regions where it explores.

Discovery of High-Grade Massive Sulphide Copper-Silver-Gold Zone at West Discovery Area

Hole GR-25-012 intersected an east-trending shear zone containing 3.06% copper, 60.3 grams per tonne silver, and 1.50 grams per tonne gold over 1.5 metres. The high-grade interval assayed 11.10% copper, 218 grams per tonne silver, and 4.45 grams per tonne gold over 0.4 metres at approximately 225 metres from surface. The mineralisation consists of a vein with an estimated 35% chalcopyrite within gabbro.

Follow-up hole GR-25-013, drilled 110 metres west of GR-25-012, returned 2.95% copper, 42.4 grams per tonne silver, and 1.79 grams per tonne gold over 0.3 metres. A deeper intersection in the same hole yielded 0.96% copper, 20.6 grams per tonne silver, and 0.97 grams per tonne gold over 0.4 metres, which appears to correlate with the massive sulphide intersection in GR-25-012.

Hole GR-25-012 also intersected 0.30 grams per tonne gold and 1.6 grams per tonne silver over 56.4 metres in a zone of quartz veining with disseminated pyrite, pyrrhotite, arsenopyrite, and chalcopyrite.

CEO Kyle Stanfield stated,

"The identification of a massive sulphide zone in the Gold Ridge - West Discovery area containing high grade copper and silver substantially adds to the previously announced high grade gold Gold Ridge Discovery Zone results."

Final Results from Autumn 2025 Nine-Hole Drilling Programme

The nine-hole, 2,169-metre drilling programme was completed at the Gold Ridge area of the TPK project. Hole GR-25-011 at the Discovery Zone returned 19.39 grams per tonne gold over 8.2 metres, including 308 grams per tonne gold over 0.3 metres. The mineralisation occurs within a quartz-veined structure trending north-northeast. Low-level gold values of 10 to 30 parts per billion occur throughout the diorite in the Discovery Zone area.

The drilling identified multiple orientations of mineralisation. Gold-copper-silver mineralisation at West Discovery is hosted in west-northwest trending veins, whilst the gold-bearing quartz-pyrite-arsenopyrite vein system trends north-northeast. The programme identified a 400-metre by 1,400-metre north-northeast trending structural corridor within the diorite intrusion.

Historical till sampling at Gold Ridge has identified pristine gold grains, and angular boulders have assayed up to 5.93 grams per tonne gold with 53.7 grams per tonne silver and 1.92% copper. The Gold Ridge area is located at the head of the Keeley Lake gold grains dispersal corridor. Both Discovery and West Discovery zones remain open in all directions.

Extension of Gold Mineralisation and Planned 2026 Programmes

Holes GR-25-014 and GR-25-015 extended gold mineralisation 1.0 kilometre north of the Discovery Zone. GR-25-014 returned 5.21 grams per tonne gold over 1.5 metres, whilst GR-25-015 intersected 2.00 grams per tonne gold over 2.0 metres, including 3.47 grams per tonne gold over 1.0 metre. These results are part of a 1,400-metre long by 400-metre wide structural corridor. Approximately 1,500 metres between West Discovery and Discovery zones has not been drilled.

ONGold's 2026 work programme includes ground electromagnetic and gravity surveys over the West Discovery Zone and a gravity survey over the Discovery Zone. Geological and structural compilations are planned for the Gold Ridge and Big Dam areas. Field work will include till sampling, mapping, prospecting, historical core re-logging, and soil orientation surveys.

CEO Kyle Stanfield commented:

"We are excited to now move forward with a detailed geological compilation as we look to permit a wider drilling programme for 2026." The company interprets the results to indicate the presence of a large, intrusive-hosted, orogenic gold system.

Next Steps

ONGold plans to permit and conduct a wider drilling programme across the Gold Ridge area in 2026, with emphasis on testing the gap between the West Discovery and Discovery zones. Geophysical surveys and geological compilations are scheduled for the first half of 2026 to refine drill targets. The work programme will combine surface sampling, geophysics, and drilling to evaluate the Gold Ridge system.
