Gold Terra Contracts SLR Consulting for Preliminary Economic Assessment on Con Mine Property and Crestaurum Deposit

Gold Terra Resource Corp. has engaged SLR Consulting to prepare a Preliminary Economic Assessment on its Con Mine property and Crestaurum deposit in Yellowknife, targeting completion by December 2026.

  • Gold Terra has engaged SLR Consulting (Canada) Ltd to prepare a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), a study that estimates the potential economics of a mineral project
  • The PEA covers the Yellorex area, Zone 103N, historical tailings at Con Mine, and the Crestaurum satellite deposit located about 20 kilometres northwest of Yellowknife
  • The study is underway and expected to be completed in December 2026
  • Nordmin Engineering Ltd and WSP Canada Inc. have been retained as supporting consultants for engineering, tailings storage, environmental studies, and permitting
  • The PEA will incorporate a May 2026 resource update that added 595,000 inferred ounces of gold to Zone 103N, along with an additional mineral resource update expected in September 2026

Gold Terra Resource Corp. (TSXV:YGT)(OTCQB:YGTFF)(Frankfurt:TX0) is a Canada based company holding the Yellowknife Project, an 836 square kilometre land package surrounding the City of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories. The project includes ground near the past producing Con Mine, which produced 6.1 million ounces of gold between 1938 and 2003, and is centred on the Campbell Shear structure, which has historically produced approximately 14 million ounces of gold. Gold Terra's Yellowknife Project also includes the Crestaurum deposit and other exploration targets across the property.

Engagement of SLR Consulting to Complete PEA on Con Mine Property and Crestaurum Deposit

Gold Terra has retained SLR Consulting (Canada) Ltd to prepare a Preliminary Economic Assessment under NI 43-101, the Canadian standard governing disclosure of mineral project information. The study will evaluate the Con Mine property, including the Yellorex area, Zone 103N, and gold contained in historical tailings from past mining, along with the Crestaurum deposit, located approximately 20 kilometres northwest of Yellowknife within the Yellowknife Project.

SLR recently completed an updated 2026 mineral resource estimate covering the Yellorex, Zone 103N, and Crestaurum deposits. SLR will act as lead consultant on the PEA and will coordinate the work of the additional engineering and environmental firms involved in the study.

Chairman and CEO Gerald Panneton said:

"The PEA study is the major step towards bringing the project towards possible development and potential future production. The PEA is to be based on the recent May 15, 2026 press release announcement on adding 595,000 Inferred ounces within 5.1 million tonnes grading 3.64 g/t gold on the 103N zone, and the updated mineral resource study due in September 2026, with the addition of almost 20,000 metres of drilling unaccounted for. After spending nearly C$19 million in drilling, we look forward to the potential restart of the historic Con Mine once the purchase is completed."

Study Scope Incorporating Recent Resource Additions and Targeting December 2026 Completion

The PEA is underway and expected to be completed in December 2026. The scope of the study extends to a level of technical detail comparable to a pre-feasibility study (PFS), a more advanced stage of project evaluation, and includes development of a new mine plan, a progressive remediation strategy, and a future closure plan.

The study will incorporate the May 2026 resource update, which added 595,000 inferred ounces within 5.1 million tonnes grading 3.64 grams per tonne gold at Zone 103N. An updated mineral resource estimate, expected in September 2026, will include results from approximately 20,000 metres of additional drilling not yet reflected in current estimates.

These updates provide the technical basis for the PEA, combining the newly added Zone 103N ounces with the upcoming resource estimate ahead of the study's December 2026 target completion date.

Engineering and Environmental Partners Supporting Path Toward Mine Restart and Permitting

Nordmin Engineering Ltd has been retained to lead the engineering component of the study, covering site and mine infrastructure as well as the process plant, the facility where mined material would be processed into a saleable product.

WSP Canada Inc. has been retained to lead the portion of the study covering the tailings storage facility, environmental studies, permitting, and social impact assessment. WSP has completed a conceptual design for a downstream tailings storage facility positioned within the existing Mining Lease boundaries of Con Mine.

Keeping the tailings storage facility within the current Mining Lease boundaries avoids the need for additional surface land outside the existing lease area. Together with SLR's role as lead consultant, Nordmin and WSP's involvement covers the engineering, environmental, and permitting components of the PEA.

Milestones and Next Steps

The PEA is targeted for completion in December 2026. Ahead of that, Gold Terra expects to release an updated mineral resource estimate in September 2026, incorporating results from approximately 20,000 metres of drilling not yet included in current estimates. The PEA will draw on both this update and the May 2026 resource addition at Zone 103N. SLR Consulting will lead the study, with Nordmin Engineering and WSP Canada supporting the engineering, environmental, and permitting components.
