Silver Tiger Metals Confirms High-Grade Silver-Gold Mineralisation at El Tigre's Northern Veins

Silver Tiger Metals reports high-grade silver-gold intercepts in the Caleigh and Protectora Veins and discovers a new Stockwork Zone near its El Tigre mine.

  • Drill hole ET-26-649 returned 2.1 metres grading 7,715 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent in the Caleigh Vein, including a 0.53 metre interval at 29,620 g/t silver equivalent, the second highest assay recorded on the property.
  • Drill hole ET-26-643 intersected 93 metres grading 70.1 g/t silver equivalent along the Protectora Vein, including a 0.60 metre section at 2,292 g/t silver equivalent.
  • Drilling identified a new Northern Stockwork Zone, similar in style to the Stockwork Zone hosting the heap leach mine under construction approximately 700 metres to the south.
  • Geotechnical drilling inside the proposed open pit returned intervals confirming grade continuity, including 1.0 metre at 1,137.5 g/t silver equivalent.
  • President and CEO Glenn Jessome stated that construction of the heap leach mine remains on schedule for first pour in December 2027.

Silver Tiger Metals Inc. (TSX:SLVR, OTCQX:SLVTF) is a Canada-based mining company developing the El Tigre silver-gold project in Sonora, Mexico. The company holds a 100% interest in the property, which covers more than 37,000 hectares, and is building a heap leach mine and processing plant supported by a pre-feasibility study and underground preliminary economic assessment completed in June 2025. Construction is being carried out under an engineering, procurement and construction agreement with Kappes, Cassiday & Associates and its Mexican affiliate, alongside Silver Tiger's own mine construction team, following approval of the construction decision by the company's Board of Directors. Commissioning and first pour at El Tigre are targeted for December 2027.

2026 Summer Exploration Drilling Confirms High-Grade Caleigh and Protectora Vein Mineralisation

The 2026 summer drilling programme focused on the Northern Area of El Tigre, targeting the Caleigh and Protectora Veins, near a cluster of historic underground workings previously mined by the North Tigre Mining Company. Both veins are considered extensions of the vein system already defined in the underground preliminary economic assessment covering the southern part of the property.

Drill hole ET-26-649 returned 2.1 metres grading 7,715 g/t silver equivalent in the Caleigh Vein. Grade in grams per tonne (g/t) measures the amount of metal contained in each tonne of rock, and a silver equivalent figure expresses gold content in terms of an equivalent silver value so that both metals can be compared on one scale. A narrower 0.53 metre section within that interval assayed 29,620 g/t silver equivalent, the second highest grade recorded across the El Tigre property to date.

Along the Protectora Vein, hole ET-26-643 intersected 93 metres grading 70.1 g/t silver equivalent, including a 0.60 metre section at 2,292 g/t silver equivalent, and hole ET-26-638 identified a high-grade hanging wall vein near historic workings.

President and CEO Glenn Jessome said:

"The Northern Veins, specifically the epithermal Caleigh and Protectora Veins, are the faulted extensions of the well-defined UG PEA Southern Veins, with similar mineralogy, structure and rock type. These veins are only 700 metre north of where we are currently building our heap leach mine. The Northern Veins are open along strike and down dip in all directions."

New Northern Stockwork Zone Discovery 700m From El Tigre Heap Leach Mine Currently Under Construction

Drilling also identified an area of mineralisation the company has named the Northern Stockwork Zone. A stockwork refers to a network of many small, interconnected veinlets distributed through a wider volume of rock, rather than a single defined vein. The company describes this zone as similar in style to the Stockwork Zone currently being mined to build the heap leach operation to the south.

The discovery is located approximately 700 metres north of the mine under construction.

Glenn Jessome said:

"Recent results also highlight the presence of outcropping Stockwork Zone, extending the current exploration corridor as we continue to add both underground and stockwork heap leach targets to the corporation's portfolio on this district-scale property."

Drilling in this area also returned intercepts along the Protectora and Caleigh Veins reported above, in addition to the stockwork intervals. The company has stated it will continue evaluating this zone alongside the vein targets already identified on the property.

Geotechnical Drilling Confirming Grade Continuity Inside Proposed Open Pit Ahead of December 2027 First Pour

Separate from the exploration programme, Silver Tiger completed a geotechnical drilling campaign with WSP Mexico to finalise the design of the open pit that will feed the heap leach mine. The final geotechnical report has been received.

Sampling was carried out on mineralised intervals encountered during this drilling. Results included 1.0 metre grading 1,137.5 g/t silver equivalent along the El Tigre Vein, near surface and previously unmined, within the footprint of the proposed pit.

Glenn Jessome said:

"Our focus remains on the construction of our heap leach mine at El Tigre with first pour to be in December, 2027. I am pleased to confirm we are on schedule for pouring that first doré bar."

Milestones and Next Steps

Silver Tiger's next milestone is the completion of construction and first pour at El Tigre, targeted for December 2027. Planned next steps include further drilling to infill the northern resource area following the Caleigh and Protectora Vein results, and continued evaluation of the Northern Stockwork Zone alongside the company's existing underground and heap leach targets.
