Alkane Resources Delivers Full Year Production of 168,337 Ounces, Builds Cash Reserves to $454 Million

Alkane Resources closed FY2026 with 168,337 ounces of gold equivalent production, in the top half of guidance, while cash, bullion and listed investments grew to $454 million.

Alkane Resources (ASX:ALK, TSX:ALK, OTCQX:ALKRY) is an Australia-based gold and antimony producer with three operating mines spanning Australia and Sweden. Tomingley is an open pit and underground gold mine southwest of Dubbo in central western New South Wales. Costerfield is a gold and antimony underground operation northeast of Heathcote in central Victoria. Björkdal is an underground gold mine in Sweden, roughly 750 kilometres north of Stockholm. All three sites carry ongoing near mine exploration programmes. Alkane also holds the Boda-Kaiser gold-copper porphyry project in central western New South Wales, where a scoping study has outlined a potential development pathway, alongside continued exploration across the surrounding Northern Molong Porphyry Project.
FY2026 Full Year Production of 168,337 AuEq Ounces in Top Half of Guidance Across Three Mines
Alkane produced 168,337 ounces of gold equivalent for the twelve months to 30 June 2026, in the top half of its guidance range of 160,000 to 175,000 ounces. Tomingley contributed 82,973 ounces of gold for the year, Costerfield produced 40,103 ounces of gold and 1,298 tonnes of antimony (44,527 ounces of gold equivalent), and Björkdal added 40,837 ounces of gold, together making up the consolidated total of 163,912 ounces of gold and 1,298 tonnes of antimony.
The fourth quarter contributed 42,491 ounces of gold equivalent, with Tomingley producing 20,896 ounces of gold, Costerfield contributing 10,117 ounces of gold and 456 tonnes of antimony, and Björkdal adding 9,935 ounces of gold. Full year sales totalled 165,196 ounces of gold and 1,364 tonnes of antimony, while fourth quarter sales were 45,600 ounces of gold and 535 tonnes of antimony.
Gold equivalent ounces combine the value of gold and antimony produced into one figure, based on average market prices for each commodity over the period.
Q4 FY2026 Cash Balance Increase of $104 Million to $454 Million Including Cash Bullion and Listed Investments
Alkane closed the June 2026 quarter with $454 million in combined cash, bullion and listed investments, made up of $432 million in cash, $7 million in bullion and $15 million in listed investments. The total represents an increase of $104 million from the March 2026 quarter and $214 million since December 2025.
Cash and bullion alone stood at $439 million at quarter end. Including its undrawn $110 million revolving credit facility, pro forma liquidity totalled $549 million. The company's only liability is $17 million in equipment finance as at 30 June 2026.
During the quarter, Alkane filled hedging of 8,500 ounces of gold, an arrangement that sets a fixed price for a portion of future gold sales, and made tax instalments of $16 million.
Full June 2026 Quarterly Activities Report Scheduled for 21 July 2026
Alkane will release its full June 2026 Quarterly Activities Report on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, which is expected to provide further operational and financial detail beyond the production and cash figures already announced.

We continue to build our balance sheet with $454 million in cash, bullion and listed investments at quarter end and total liquidity of $549 million including our undrawn revolving credit facility."
