Aurion Reports 100-Metre Depth Extension at Kaaresselkä Gold System

• Drill intercepts of 3.72 g/t gold over 10.35 metres and 1.19 g/t gold over 15.00 metres extend the mineralised system approximately 100 metres at depth
• Gold mineralised system at Vanha now extends over 1,400 metres along strike and to at least 250 metres depth, remaining open in both directions
• Five holes totalling 1,394.50 metres all intersected gold mineralisation within altered and deformed rock zones
• Results pending for over 20 holes from the ongoing drill programme testing system extensions

Aurion Resources Ltd. Vanha Prospect Drill Results and 100-Metre Depth Extension

The autumn drill programme reported results for five holes totalling 1,394.50 metres at the Vanha prospect. Drill hole KS25129 intersected 3.72 g/t gold over 10.35 metres from 217.90 metres depth, including 31.20 g/t gold over 1.05 metres. This intercept is located approximately 100 metres below previous mineralisation in hole KS24076, which returned 1.00 g/t gold over 16.60 metres from 99.30 metres. Visible gold grains were observed in several sample intervals from KS25129.

Drill hole KS25131 intersected 1.19 g/t gold over 15.00 metres from 299.60 metres depth, including 6.04 g/t gold over 1.50 metres. This mineralisation is positioned approximately 100 metres below hole KS24091, which had intersected 8.08 g/t gold over 6.75 metres from 186.95 metres. The other three holes in the programme also intersected gold mineralisation at various depths, with hole KS25130 returning 0.52 g/t gold over 3.20 metres and 0.45 g/t gold over 5.00 metres.

The mineralisation is hosted in highly deformed and altered mafic volcanic and metasedimentary rocks with sulphide minerals including pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite, and arsenopyrite. Higher-grade intervals occur in silicified and brecciated zones with moderate sulphide content.

Mineralised System Continuity at Kaaresselkä

All five holes reported in this update intersected gold mineralisation within their targeted structural features. The mineralised system at Vanha now extends over 1,400 metres along strike and to at least 250 metres depth. The gold mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth. Each hole encountered deformed and hydrothermally altered rocks associated with gold mineralisation.

The gold occurs primarily within rocks altered by silica, sericite, and albite, accompanied by sulphide minerals in varying proportions. Metallurgical testing completed on two samples from Vanha demonstrated recoveries exceeding 93.6% from bottle roll leaching tests, indicating predominantly free-milling gold and amenability to standard processing methods. The results were reported in a June 3, 2025 news release.

Scout drill holes have intersected gold mineralisation 1.8 kilometres west and 600 metres east of the Vanha prospect, as reported in a November 13, 2023 news release. The Kaaresselkä area is located 15 kilometres east of the Vuoma discovery (28.64 g/t gold over 4.90 metres) by the Aurion-B2Gold joint venture, along a structural corridor extending over 25 kilometres within Aurion's Risti property and the joint venture property with B2Gold.

Pending Results from Ongoing Drill Programme

The autumn drilling campaign has more than 20 holes completed and awaiting assay results.

Mr Talikka stated that:

"Aurion is looking forward to providing further updates following the receipt of the pending results for over 20 holes from the ongoing drill programme at the Risti property focusing on the Kaaresselkä area."

The programme continues to test potential extensions of the mineralised system at Kaaresselkä.

The drilling targets interpreted structural features that control gold distribution. The programme aims to identify and extend known mineralisation whilst exploring for new zones. The company utilises ALS laboratories for sample preparation and analysis, with sample preparation completed at the Sodankylä, Finland facility and analytical work completed at ALS facilities in Loughrea, Ireland and Rosia Montana, Romania.

ALS is an internationally accredited laboratory with ISO compliance (ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 17025:2005). Samples are analysed for gold using fire assay procedures with various detection limits depending on the method used. The company's quality assurance protocol includes inserting certified standards and blanks every 10 samples, with ALS maintaining its own quality control procedures using standards, blanks, and duplicates.

Next Steps and Milestones

The company is awaiting assay results from more than 20 completed drill holes at Kaaresselkä. The drill programme continues to test extensions of the mineralised system at Vanha. The mineralised system now extends over 1,400 metres along strike and to at least 250 metres depth, remaining open in both directions. Updates will be provided as assay results become available and drilling progresses.
