Cabral Gold - Advancing Exploration of High-Grade Oxide Gold Resources in Brazil

Cabral Gold intersects exceptional high-grade gold mineralization near surface at its Cuiú Cuiú project in Brazil, expanding potential for low-cost open pit, heap leach mine development.

About Cabral Gold

Cabral Gold (TSXV: CBR) is a junior resource company focused on the identification, exploration and development of gold properties located in Brazil. The company’s flagship asset is the Cuiú Cuiú gold project located within the state of Pará in northern Brazil. Cuiú Cuiú contains National Instrument 43-101 compliant resources of 21.6Mt @ 0.87 g/t gold (604,000 oz) Indicated and 19.8Mt @ 0.84 g/t gold (534,500 oz) Inferred.

CEO Thoughts on Latest Drill Results

According to CEO Alan Carter, these latest drill results from the Central deposit are targeting near-surface oxide mineralization to 1) expand higher-grade portions, 2) improve confidence in oxide resources, and 3) aid mine planning and sequencing for the proposed trial mining operation.

Key takeaways highlighted:

  1. The Central results mirror the success seen at the MG deposit, intersecting high grades in soft, weathered material amenable to free-dig mining.
  2. Excellent intercepts include 16m @ 5.2 g/t gold and 9m @ 4.6 g/t gold demonstrating continuity of high-grade mineralization near surface and along strike.
  3. Most previous drilling focused on hard rock at depth, so these results confirm high-grade zones extend upward into weathered saprolite material.
  4. The exceptional grades near surface have vastly more value than the same intercepts at depth. For example, 16m @ 5.2 g/t from 7m depth in saprolite is far superior to the same interval 300m down in hard rock.

High-Grade Drill Results Expand Oxide Gold PotentialDrill highlights include:

  • 16m @ 5.2 g/t gold from 7m depth in hole RC357, including 3m @ 23.9 g/t gold
  • 9m @ 4.6 g/t gold from 47m depth in hole RC352, including 3m @ 12.7 g/t gold

These results confirm that the high-grade primary mineralization can be traced upward into the oxidized blanket sediments and underlying saprolite material. The oxide zones offer potential for open pit mining and heap leach processing methods.

Ongoing Drill Program and Upcoming Milestones

The current 55 hole, 3,770 meter RC drill program at Central is still underway with assays pending from 29 holes. An additional 12 RC holes and 9 shallow power auger holes are awaiting assays from the MG deposit area.

These pending drill results will support an updated resource model for the oxide mineralization at the MG and Central deposits. This updated model will form the basis for a proposed mine plan and prefeasibility study focused on open pit mining and heap leach processing of the oxide resources.

Advancing in a World-Class Gold District

The Cuiú Cuiú project is located within the Tapajós Gold Province which saw extensive historical placer gold production. Cuiú Cuiú was the largest area of placer workings and produced an estimated 2 million ounces.

This demonstrates the district’s potential to host world-class gold deposits. Through systematic exploration, Cabral is working to define the next major gold mine in this prolific region. Recent drill results suggest they are on the right track to delineating high-grade resources that could support an open pit oxide heap leach operation in the near term.

Conclusion

Cabral Gold offers exposure to an exciting gold exploration story in Brazil’s Tapajós District. Recent drilling has confirmed continuity of exceptionally high-grade oxide mineralization near surface that could support a potential open pit, heap leach operation.

CEO Alan Carter highlights how these exceptional grades found close to surface hold far more value compared to similar intercepts at depth. With exploration ongoing and funded, investors have opportunities for upside from resource expansion and positive feasibility studies over the next 12 months. The tight share structure provides leverage to exploration success.

For investors comfortable with the risks of junior gold exploration, Cabral Gold provides an attractive speculative investment opportunity.
