Cabral Gold Reports Infill Drill Results at MG Deposit Supporting Phase 1 Oxide Mine Plan

Cabral Gold completes 158 infill RC holes at MG deposit with model reconciliation within 3% ahead of Q4 2026 production start at Cuiú Cuiú, Brazil.

  • Cabral Gold has completed 158 reverse circulation (RC) infill drill holes totalling 5,573 metres at the MG starter pit within the Cuiú Cuiú Gold District, Brazil, with results received on an additional 32 infill RC holes and assay results pending on the remaining 76 holes.
  • Notable results from this batch of RC drill results include 25 metres at 4.35 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from surface, 36 metres at 1.07 g/t gold from surface, 39 metres at 0.70 g/t gold from surface, and 21 metres at 1.60 g/t gold from surface.
  • The infill programme was designed to upgrade the 2-year MG oxide pit to measured reserve classification and improve confidence around the Year 1 mine plan ahead of the fourth quarter of 2026 production start.
  • Initial model reconciliation has fallen within 3% of the existing geological model, with the Company's mining team now in place and continuing with early ore control, processing-related works, and fine-tuning of the short-term mine plan.
  • With MG infill drilling complete, the RC rig will return to exploration work, particularly establishing an initial resource for the gold in oxide material at the Jerimum Cima discovery.

Company Overview

Cabral Gold Inc. (TSXV: CBR | OTCQX: CBGZF | FRA: C3J) is a junior resource company engaged in the exploration, development, and near-term production from gold properties in Brazil. The Company has a 100% interest in the Cuiú Cuiú gold district in the Tapajós Region, Pará state, northern Brazil. The Cuiú Cuiú project contains National Instrument (NI) 43 101 compliant Indicated resources of 12.29 million tonnes at 1.14 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (450,200 ounces) in fresh basement material and 13.56 million tonnes at 0.50 g/t gold (216,182 ounces) in oxide material, plus Inferred resources of 13.63 million tonnes at 1.04 g/t gold (455,100 ounces) in fresh basement material and 6.4 million tonnes at 0.34 g/t gold (70,569 ounces) in oxide material. The Company is currently constructing a Phase 1 gold in oxide heap leach operation and expects to enter commercial gold production in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Infill Drill Results & Model Validation

Results have been received on an additional 32 infill reverse circulation (RC) holes targeting the gold in oxide material in the eastern and central parts of the MG starter pit. These follow the receipt of results from an initial 24 infill RC holes reported on April 7, 2026, and 30 infill holes reported on May 7, 2026. The programme of infill drilling was aimed at improving the confidence around the Year 1 mine plan at MG and upgrading the current resource by the end of May 2026.

The RC drill results reported confirm the presence of good grades within the weathered saprolite and overlying sedimentary blanket and the Year 1 pit outline. Notable results from this batch include 25 metres at 4.35 g/t gold from surface, 36 metres at 1.07 g/t gold from surface, 39 metres at 0.70 g/t gold from surface, and 21 metres at 1.60 g/t gold from surface. All of the holes reported were drilled within the Year 1 pit. These results are in line with the existing MG mine plan and validate the geological model, demonstrating the presence of significant near-surface resources with good-grade material amenable to heap leach.

MG Deposit Context & Infill Programme Objectives

The MG gold deposit is one of two main gold deposits that currently comprise the Indicated and Inferred resource base at Cuiú Cuiú. As with the nearby Central gold deposit, the upper portion of the subvertical MG gold mineralisation is extensively weathered, resulting in a vertical profile of saprolite extending to 60 metres depth. This saprolite, together with the overlying blanket sediments and soils, which are also mineralised, will form the starter pit for the Phase 1 gold in oxide mining operation due to commence production in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The objective of the RC infill drill programme at MG was to provide greater confidence in the grade and continuity of the current reserve at MG ahead of mining and to further refine the mine plan that was developed as part of the prefeasibility study (PFS) released in July 2025.

Vice President, Exploration and Technical Services of Cabral Gold, Brian Arkell, commented:

"We've now completed infill drilling aimed at upgrading our 2-year MG oxide pit to measured reserve classification, giving us increasing confidence in achieving operational results in line with the PFS. Although we are still awaiting assays from a number of holes, results thus far have been exceptional, with our initial model reconciliation falling within 3% of our existing model. Our mining team is now in place and is continuing with early ore control, processing-related works, and fine-tuning of the short-term mine plan. With the MG infill drilling completed, the RC rig will return to focussing on exploration work and particularly establishing an initial resource for the gold-in-oxide material at the Jerimum Cima discovery."

Exploration Drilling Programme Update

With MG infill drilling complete, the RC rig will return to exploration work. In addition to the RC infill drilling programme at MG, the bulk of the Company's drilling efforts, comprising 2 RC rigs and 4 diamond drill rigs, are currently directed towards exploration drilling of the underlying hard rock deposits at Cuiú Cuiú, particularly the Jerimum Cima discovery, where recent drilling returned 9.5 metres at 87.4 g/t gold.

Next Steps

Cabral Gold expects to complete the upgrade of the current resource at MG by the end of May 2026, with assay results still pending on 76 infill holes. The Company anticipates entering commercial gold production at the Phase 1 gold in oxide heap leach operation in the fourth quarter of 2026. The RC rig will continue exploration drilling at the Jerimum Cima discovery to establish an initial resource for the gold in oxide material.

FAQs (AI-Generated)

Why is Cabral Gold conducting infill drilling at the MG deposit? +

The infill drilling programme is designed to increase confidence in the Year 1 mine plan, validate the geological model, and upgrade the MG oxide pit to measured reserve classification ahead of production.

What were the key drill results from the latest MG infill programme? +

Notable intercepts included 25 metres at 4.35 g/t gold from surface, 36 metres at 1.07 g/t gold, 39 metres at 0.70 g/t gold, and 21 metres at 1.60 g/t gold.

Why is the 3% model reconciliation important? +

A reconciliation within 3% of the existing geological model indicates strong alignment between predicted and actual grades, improving confidence in mine planning and potential production outcomes.

When does Cabral Gold expect to begin commercial gold production? +

Cabral Gold expects the Phase 1 oxide heap leach operation at Cuiú Cuiú to enter commercial production in the fourth quarter of 2026.
