Canada Nickel's Exploration Success & Growing Nickel Portfolio

Canada Nickel makes new discoveries at Reid and Newmarket, advancing sustainable nickel projects for EVs.

  • Canada Nickel makes new discovery at Newmarket property and achieves best drill results to date at Reid
  • Reid property drilling intersects long intervals of nickel mineralization, including 675m at 0.25% Ni
  • Newmarket property initial drilling intersects mineralized peridotite and dunite over 0.8 km strike length
  • Company grants options and RSUs to officers, directors, and employees
  • Canada Nickel is advancing next-generation nickel-sulphide projects for the electric vehicle and stainless steel markets

About Canada Nickel Company

Canada Nickel Company Inc. is a mining company focused on developing nickel-sulphide projects to supply the rapidly growing electric vehicle and stainless steel markets. The company is applying to trademark the terms NetZero Nickel™, NetZero Cobalt™, and NetZero Iron™ as it pursues the production of net-zero carbon nickel, cobalt, and iron products. Canada Nickel's flagship project is the 100% owned Crawford Nickel-Cobalt Sulphide Project located in the Timmins-Cochrane mining camp in Ontario, Canada. The company provides investors with exposure to nickel in low political risk jurisdictions.

Exciting New Discovery & Drill Results

Reid Property

Canada Nickel has achieved its best drilling results to date at the Reid property, located just 16 km southwest of the flagship Crawford project. All six initial drillholes at Reid intersected long intervals of dunite, with five holes ending in mineralization.

Hole REI24-17, collared near the western border of the target, intersected 675 meters grading 0.25% nickel, including 142.5 meters at 0.32% nickel and 24 meters at 0.40% nickel. Notably, the ultramafic sequence in this area is over 800 meters thick, almost double that of Crawford's main zone, highlighting the large-scale potential of the Reid property. The company aims to complete an initial resource estimate for Reid by Q4 2024.

Newmarket Property

At the Newmarket property, located 35 km east of Crawford, the first two drillholes intersected mineralized and well-serpentinized peridotite and dunite. Mineralization was delineated along a 0.8 km strike length on the eastern margin of the 7.0 km geophysical target. The target remains open to the west for an additional 6.2 km, where it connects to the Mann Southeast ultramafic target.

Drillhole NEW24-01 intersected 373 meters grading 0.24% nickel, while NEW24-02A intersected 341.3 meters at 0.17% nickel, including 122.5 meters at 0.24% nickel. These initial results are encouraging, despite being drilled at the least geophysically prospective end of the target due to seasonal constraints. More drilling is planned for the summer 2024 campaign, which will also target the adjacent Mann Southeast property.

Advancing Next-Generation Nickel Projects

Canada Nickel is at the forefront of developing the next generation of nickel-sulphide projects to meet the surging demand from the electric vehicle and stainless steel sectors. The company's commitment to producing net-zero carbon nickel, cobalt, and iron products sets it apart as an environmentally conscious mining company.

With its flagship Crawford project and promising exploration results from Reid and Newmarket, Canada Nickel is well-positioned to become a significant player in the global nickel market. The company's focus on low political risk jurisdictions provides investors with a stable and secure investment opportunity.

Conclusion

Canada Nickel Company presents a compelling investment opportunity for those looking to gain exposure to the growing nickel market. With its focus on developing net-zero carbon nickel-sulphide projects in low political risk jurisdictions, the company is well-positioned to meet the increasing demand from the electric vehicle and stainless steel industries.

The recent discoveries and impressive drill results at the Reid and Newmarket properties demonstrate the company's ability to identify and advance high-quality nickel projects. As Canada Nickel continues to explore and develop its portfolio of properties, investors can expect a steady stream of news and updates on the company's progress.

Moreover, Canada Nickel's experienced management team and commitment to sustainable mining practices set it apart from its peers.
