Geiger Energy Corp. Begins Summer Drilling at Aberdeen Uranium Project in Nunavut

Geiger Energy Corp. has started summer drilling at its Aberdeen Project in Nunavut's Thelon Basin, focusing on the Loki and Tatiggaq targets.

Summer Drill Program Commencement Prioritizing Loki and Tatiggaq Targets at Aberdeen Project
Geiger Energy Corp. has begun its 2026 field season at the Aberdeen Project, with drilling underway at Loki and Tatiggaq. Both targets have returned evidence of fertile uranium systems in earlier drilling, including alteration and mineralization.
The program is directed at structural features associated with the movement of uranium-bearing fluids through the Thelon Basin. Loki is being tested as a discovery target, while Tatiggaq drilling is aimed at expanding an existing high-grade zone. The two programs are running concurrently over the summer season.
Results from both targets, including assays and updated interpretations, are expected as drilling progresses.
Loki Targeting Building on 2025 Unconformity Uranium Breakthrough in Thelon Sandstone
At Loki, the company plans approximately 10 drill holes to test a 4 kilometre gravity anomaly. Drilling this season will focus on step-out holes 50 to 100 metres north of hole TAT25-006, targeting an interpreted fault where it meets the sandstone unconformity, the boundary between younger sandstone cover and older basement rock where uranium deposits typically form in this setting.
The 2026 program follows a 2025 result in which the company intersected uranium mineralization at the unconformity for the first time at Loki, along with a large zone of alteration. Target selection may be adjusted depending on this season's results.
Several additional, parallel fault structures within the same gravity anomaly have also been identified and remain available for follow-up testing if the initial step-out holes do not return the anticipated results.
Tatiggaq Step-Out Drilling Advancing High-Grade Discovery to Expansion Stage Near Orano's Andrew Lake Deposit
At Tatiggaq, drilling will systematically test the main ENE-trending fault that hosts the known mineralization, with holes stepping out to the northeast to test for additional mineralized zones beyond those already outlined.
Because the mineralized trend is interpreted to plunge moderately to the northeast, this year's holes will target depths of approximately 300 to 400 metres. Additional holes may follow on nearby parallel faults that have shown elevated radioactivity and favourable geochemistry in previous surveys, depending on time, budget, and results.
Tatiggaq is located 5 kilometres west of Orano's Andrew Lake Deposit.

Next Steps
The 2026 drill program at Aberdeen is now underway at both Loki and Tatiggaq, with results expected as the season progresses. Additional targets on the project, including Nymeria, Thor, Mammoth and Qavvik, are slated for testing as time and budget allow.
