Gold Terra Advances Winter Drilling at Campbell Shear with Resource Update Expected in 2026

Gold Terra completes 2,613.7 metres of drilling south of Con Mine and engages SLR Consulting for updated mineral resource estimate in second half of 2026.

  • Completed eight drill holes totalling 2,613.7 metres on the Campbell Shear at the Yellorex area, with all holes intersecting the Campbell Shear zone
  • Engaged SLR Consulting to complete an updated Mineral Resource Estimate anticipated in the second half of 2026, with first draft expected before April 2026
  • Four diamond drill rigs currently active across the Yellowknife Project, including two holes at the Mispickel target in the Northbelt area
  • Drilling focuses on areas with potential to add ounces to current mineral resource estimates and increase indicated category resources between surface and 700 metres depth
  • Company holds option to acquire 100% of Con Mine Option property from Newmont subsidiary until November 21, 2027

Gold Terra Resource Corp. (TSX-V:YGT) is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration company focused on the Yellowknife Project in the Northwest Territories. The company controls 836 square kilometres of contiguous land covering nearly 70 kilometres of strike length along the Campbell Shear. The Campbell Shear hosted the former Con and Giant gold mines, which produced approximately 14 million ounces of gold historically. The project is located within 10 kilometres of Yellowknife, providing access to infrastructure including all-season roads, hydroelectric power, and skilled labour.

Completion of Eight Drill Holes Totalling 2,613.7 Metres on Campbell Shear Targeting Yellorex Area South of Con Mine with Two Additional Holes at Northbelt Mispickel Target

The company completed eight holes on the Campbell Shear within the Yellorex area, located two kilometres south of the historic Con Mine. All eight holes intersected the Campbell Shear, characterised by variable quartz-ankerite and smoky quartz veining with sericite-dominated alteration. The drilling targeted sections where limited historical data exists.

Four holes exhibited strong intervals of mineralisation with dense smoky quartz-ankerite veining and sulphide minerals including pyrite, arsenopyrite, and locally stibnite. Campbell Shear intersection widths ranged from 53.3 metres to 95.8 metres, with hole GTY26-007 recording the widest intersection at 95.8 metres. The remaining four holes showed weaker mineralisation characteristics with minor quartz-carbonate veining and trace sulphides.

The company also completed two holes at the Mispickel target within the Northbelt area, 20 kilometres north of Yellowknife. Holes GTWL26-020 and GTWL26-021 reached depths of 300.7 and 307.7 metres respectively. The Mispickel zone previously returned results including 31.89 grams per tonne gold over three metres in 2022 drilling. All samples from completed drill holes have been submitted for laboratory analysis.

Engagement of SLR Consulting to Complete Updated Mineral Resource Estimate Anticipated in Second Half of 2026

Gold Terra has engaged SLR Consulting to prepare an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Yellowknife Project. SLR Consulting provides mining advisory and technical services spanning geology, resource estimation, engineering, and metallurgy. The updated estimate will incorporate drilling completed since the company's 2022 Mineral Resource Estimate.

The Yellorex North zone, drilled in 2023, was not included in the previous estimate. The current drilling programme targets areas between surface and 700 metres depth where the company sees potential to add ounces and increase resources in the indicated category.

Chairman and CEO Gerald Panneton stated:

"Our winter drilling program is progressing well with the objective to add additional ounces to our current mineral resource estimates. The drilling on the Yellorex is targeting areas where there was room to add ounces with not enough drilling, and to increase the number of ounces in the indicated category."

A first draft of the updated estimate is expected before April 2026, with final completion anticipated in the second half of 2026. The company holds its option on the Con Mine Option property until November 21, 2027.

Four Active Diamond Drill Rigs with All Samples Submitted for Laboratory Analysis

Gold Terra currently operates four diamond drill rigs across the Yellowknife Project, with drilling underway at both the Yellorex area and the Mispickel target. The Yellorex programme focuses on three target areas: the Yellorex Main Zone, where holes on 30-50 metre spacing account for more than 65% of the 2022 Mineral Resource Estimate; the Yellorex North zone; and the C17 area extending to the 3100-foot level south of main mine workings.

Holes GTY26-009 and GTY26-010 are in progress at Yellorex, while holes GTWL26-022 and GTWL26-023 are underway at Mispickel.

Chairman and CEO Gerald Panneton commented:

"With two (2) drill rigs coring on the Con Mine Option, our program is advancing well with more than 2600 metres to date. Gold Terra's 100% land tenure covers more than 70 kilometres of strike length of the past-producing high-grade Campbell Shear in one of Canada's largest historic gold belts."

All samples from the ten completed drill holes have been submitted to accredited laboratories for analysis, with assay results expected within standard turnaround times.

Looking Forward

Gold Terra continues drilling at both target areas with four active rigs. The company expects to receive assay results from the ten completed holes within standard laboratory turnaround times. The first draft of the updated Mineral Resource Estimate is expected before April 2026, with final completion anticipated in the second half of 2026. The company's option on the Con Mine Option property extends until November 21, 2027.
