Gold Terra Begins Drilling at Zone 103N, Targeting Growth of 595,000-Ounce Con Mine Resource

Gold Terra Resource Corp. has started drilling at Zone 103N on the Campbell Shear, aiming to expand an initial 595,000-ounce inferred resource at its Con Mine property near Yellowknife.

  • Drilling has started at Zone 103N, the northern extension of the Campbell Shear structure within the Con Mine Option property near Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
  • Zone 103N carries an initial inferred resource of 595,000 ounces of gold (5,083,000 tonnes at 3.64 grams per tonne), based on the company's June 2026 technical report.
  • Gold Terra has staked three new mineral claims, YGT 2, YGT 3, and YGT 4, extending its 100% owned ground north of Zone 103N along the Campbell Shear.
  • The company recently closed a financing of approximately C$9.2 million, with C$7.2 million allocated to drilling at Zone 103N, the historical tailings program, and Yellorex technical work.
  • A Preliminary Economic Assessment covering the Con Mine project is targeted for completion by year end 2026, incorporating winter 2026 drilling results.

Gold Terra (TSX-V:YGT)(OTCQB:YGTFF) is a Canada-based gold exploration company with a land package covering 836 square kilometres near Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The company controls ground within one of Canada's major historical high-grade gold camps, including claims adjacent to the former Con Mine, which produced 6.1 million ounces of gold between 1938 and 2003. Gold Terra's current exploration is centred on the Campbell Shear structure, a system that has produced an estimated 14 million ounces of gold historically. The property is located within 10 kilometres of Yellowknife, providing access to roads, air transport, power, and skilled labour.

Drilling Commenced on Zone 103N Campbell Shear Northern Extension Targeting Expansion of 595,000 Inferred Ounce MRE

Zone 103N is the northern continuation of the Campbell Shear, a structure that was worked underground during the later years of the Con Mine's operating history. That historical development and drilling data form the basis of the resource estimate published in Gold Terra's June 2026 technical report.

The report outlined an initial inferred resource at Zone 103N of 595,000 ounces of gold, contained in 5,083,000 tonnes of material grading 3.64 grams per tonne. An inferred resource is an early stage estimate based on limited drilling data; it indicates gold is present, but additional drilling is required before the material can be considered for mine planning purposes.

The structure can be traced for 1.6 kilometres across three underground levels, approximately 600 to 900 metres below surface. The first hole of the new program, GTCM26-061, is testing this extension, with further targets planned.

Chairman and CEO Gerald Panneton said:

"Zone 103N along the Campbell Shear has excellent potential to delineate additional ounces. Our recent June 2026 Technical Report includes an initial MRE of approximately inferred 595,000 ounces at Zone 103N within the Con Mine Option property, underscoring its potential at depth. Zone 103N could be a contributor to the potential restart of the Con Mine and is part of the Preliminary Economic Assessment currently scheduled to be completed by year end 2026."

Additional Claims Staked North of Zone 103N Adding 100% Owned Exploration Upside Along Campbell Shear

Gold Terra has staked and confirmed three new mineral claims, YGT 2, YGT 3, and YGT 4, all held 100% by the company. These claims extend Gold Terra's land position along the same structure hosting the Zone 103N resource.

The most relevant of the three, YGT-2, covers the extension of the Campbell Shear starting north of the coordinates defining the current Zone 103N resource. This claim is wholly owned by Gold Terra, with no third party ownership interest attached to any gold that may be delineated on that ground.

The staking extends the company's exploration coverage along a structure already associated with both historical production and the current Zone 103N resource estimate.

C$9.2 Million Financing Supporting Zone 103N Drilling, Con Mine Tailings Program, and Yellorex Technical Work Ahead of Year-End 2026 PEA

Gold Terra recently closed a financing of approximately C$9.2 million. Of this amount, C$7.2 million has been allocated to fund the ongoing Zone 103N drill program, work on the historical Con Mine tailings, and technical studies at the Yellorex project.

The historical tailings program is scheduled to begin in August 2026, followed by Yellorex drilling and metallurgical sampling in September 2026. These programs are proceeding alongside the current Zone 103N drilling.

The results from these programs, together with winter 2026 drilling already completed, are expected to feed into a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), a study that evaluates the potential economic viability of a project. The PEA is targeted for completion by year end 2026.

Milestones and Next Steps

Gold Terra's near term activities include continued drilling at Zone 103N, the start of the historical tailings program in August 2026, and the start of Yellorex drilling and metallurgical sampling in September 2026. These results, combined with winter 2026 drilling data, are expected to inform the Preliminary Economic Assessment targeted for completion by year end 2026.
