Gold Terra Reports High-Grade Gold Assays at Yellorex Zone, Con Mine Option Property

Winter drill program results at the Yellorex Zone include 5.88 g/t gold over 19 metres, part of continued drilling along the Campbell Shear at the Con Mine Option property near Yellowknife.

  • Hole GTY26-22 returned 5.88 g/t gold over 19 metres, including 18.50 g/t gold over 4 metres
  • Eleven drill holes from the 2026 Winter Program intersected the Campbell Shear structure
  • Hole GTY26-018 intersected 19.39 g/t gold over 3.5 metres near surface
  • The Yellorex Zone deposit remains open at depth
  • Planned milestones include a Q3 2026 resource estimate update and a year-end 2026 economic assessment

Gold Terra Resource Corp. (TSXV:YGT)(Frankfurt:TX0)(OTCQB:YGTFF) is a Canada-based gold exploration company focused on the Yellowknife Project, an 836 square kilometre land package located around the City of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories. The company holds an option to acquire the Con Mine property from a subsidiary of Newmont Corporation, which operated as a gold mine from 1938 to 2003. Gold Terra's current exploration work is centred on the Campbell Shear structure, part of a mineralized system within the Yellowknife greenstone belt. The Yellowknife Project is located within 10 kilometres of the city and has access to all-season roads, air transportation, and hydro-electric power.

High-Grade Drill Results from 2026 Winter Program at Yellorex Zone

Gold Terra reported assay results from eleven drill holes completed under its 2026 Winter Drill Program at the Yellorex Zone, located immediately south of the historic Con Mine. Hole GTY26-22 returned 5.88 grams per tonne gold over 19 metres, including a higher-grade interval of 18.50 grams per tonne gold over 4 metres and a narrower section of 27.50 grams per tonne gold over 2 metres.

Additional intersections included hole GTY26-011, which returned 2.18 grams per tonne gold over 26.1 metres, and hole GTY26-018, which intersected 19.39 grams per tonne gold over 3.5 metres near surface. All eleven holes intersected the Campbell Shear, which the company describes as characterized by quartz-ankerite and smoky quartz veining with sericite alteration associated with gold mineralization.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Gerald Panneton stated,

"The Campbell shear target in the Yellorex area continues to deliver high-grade assay results. It further demonstrates the potential and continuity of the Yellorex Zone, reinforcing the Company's confidence in its drilling strategy to seek to expand Gold Terra's near-surface resource estimate on the CMO Property."

Continued Resource Expansion Potential Along Campbell Shear with Deposit Open at Depth

The Yellorex Zone forms part of a resource estimate the company outlined in 2022. Current drilling is targeting the area between surface and 700 metres depth, and the deposit remains open at depth, meaning mineralization has not been closed off by drilling at its lower boundary.

The Campbell Shear is identified by the company as its highest priority target. According to the Company's October 2022 technical report, the historic Con Mine produced more than 5 million ounces of gold at a grade of 16 g/t, while the broader Con, Rycon, and Campbell shear structures combined produced 6.1 million ounces between 1938 and 2003.

The main geological host for mineralization in the Campbell Shear is mafic volcanic rock. The company's drill holes are oriented at right angles to the structure, with reported widths interpreted to be approximately 90 percent of true thickness.

Upcoming Catalysts Including Q3 2026 MRE Update and Year-End 2026 PEA

Gold Terra has outlined several planned activities for the remainder of 2026. These include a drill program targeting the 103N Zone, a northern extension of the Campbell Shear, and a separate program testing historical tailings for potential unrecovered gold, scheduled to begin in August 2026.

The company plans to release an updated Mineral Resource Estimate in the third quarter of 2026, incorporating approximately 20,000 metres of past drilling, with half of that total from the Walsh Lake gold corridor. A Preliminary Economic Assessment is planned for year-end 2026.

Gold Terra is also conducting gap analysis and baseline studies as part of its initial permitting process for the property.

Milestones and Next Steps

The 2026 Winter Drill Program results add to Gold Terra's dataset for the Yellorex Zone along the Campbell Shear at the Con Mine Option property. Upcoming activities include drilling at the 103N Zone, a historical tailings testing program starting in August 2026, an updated Mineral Resource Estimate expected in the third quarter of 2026, and a Preliminary Economic Assessment targeted for year-end 2026. The company is also advancing permitting-related studies for the property.
