Mineros Delivers Higher Gold and Silver Sales in Second Quarter, Lifts 2026 Production Outlook

Mineros S.A. reports 61,849 gold equivalent ounces sold in Q2 2026, with record silver output at Hemco prompting a raised full year 2026 production guidance.

  • Gold sold reached 59,639 ounces in Q2 2026, an 11% increase from 53,906 ounces in the same period last year
  • Silver sold hit a record 150,680 ounces, more than doubling the 70,732 ounces sold in Q2 2025
  • Gold equivalent sales totalled 61,849 ounces, up 13% from 54,629 ounces a year earlier
  • The Hemco Property in Nicaragua produced 37,157 ounces of gold, a 12% increase, while advancing toward a processing target of 2,500 tonnes per day
  • Full year 2026 guidance was raised to a range of 220,000 to 240,000 gold equivalent ounces, up from the original 213,000 to 233,000 ounce range

Mineros (TSX:MSA, OTCQX:MNSAF, BVC:MINEROS) is a Colombia-based gold mining company with more than 50 years of operating history in Latin America. The company runs producing mines in Colombia and Nicaragua and holds a portfolio of development and exploration projects across the region, including the La Pepa project in Chile. Mineros places emphasis on safety, sustainability and disciplined use of capital, and its shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange, the Colombia Stock Exchange, and the OTCQX Best Market.

Strong Q2 2026 Gold and Silver Sales Driven by Hemco Optimisation and Colombia Improvements

Mineros closed the second quarter of 2026 with consolidated gold sales of 59,639 ounces, an 11% increase over the same period a year earlier. Growth was driven by plant optimisation work at the Hemco Property, along with a ramp up in mining activity and operational upgrades at the Nechí Property in Colombia.

At Hemco, gold sold climbed to 37,157 ounces, a 12% increase from a year earlier. The improvement came from higher plant throughput, better recovery rates during processing, and steady ore supply from Bonanza Mining Partners as well as the company's own mining operations. Metallurgical optimisation, the process of fine-tuning how ore is processed to extract more metal from the same amount of rock, has been a key driver of this growth.

In Colombia, the Nechí Property produced 22,482 ounces of gold, an 8% increase from Q2 2025. The property continues to operate under a disciplined cost structure, contributing steady cash flow alongside Hemco's higher output growth.

Record Silver Sold of 150,680 Ounces Marks 113% Year-Over-Year Increase at Hemco

Mineros sold 150,680 ounces of silver in Q2 2026, more than double the 70,732 ounces sold in the same period last year, a 113% increase. Of this total, 148,565 ounces came from the Hemco Property.

Silver at Hemco is treated as a byproduct of gold mining and is not currently classified as a mineral reserve or resource, meaning it is not separately guided in the same way as gold. Instead, silver recovered is converted into gold equivalent ounces using prevailing metal prices and added to reported sales. The increase in silver output reflects improvements in metallurgical recovery at the Hemco processing plant.

As Hemco's processing capacity continues to expand toward its 2,500 tonne per day target by year end, the company has indicated it expects this to support further gains in metal recovery.

Full-Year 2026 Guidance Raised to 220,000 to 240,000 AuEq Ounces on First-Half Outperformance

Mineros raised its full year 2026 consolidated gold production guidance to a range of 220,000 to 240,000 ounces, up from the original range of 213,000 to 233,000 ounces set on February 6, 2026. The revision follows first-half sales of 122,634 gold equivalent ounces, a 12% increase over the same period in 2025.

The upper end of Hemco's 2026 guidance range has been raised to 137,000 to 147,000 ounces from the previous 130,000 to 140,000 range, reflecting continued plant capacity expansion and improved metallurgical recoveries. Guidance for the Nechí Property in Colombia remains unchanged at 83,000 to 93,000 ounces, underpinned by a stable operating plan. The updated guidance assumes a gold price of USD $4,405 per ounce.

President and CEO Daniel Henao said:

"The second quarter results demonstrate the strength and consistency of our operations across both jurisdictions. In Nicaragua, production increased and reflects the sustained success of our metallurgical optimization program and the significant byproduct value embedded in our operations. These are not isolated gains; they are the product of deliberate and disciplined investment in our plant and our people. In Colombia, gold sold of 22,482 ounces represented an 8% year-over-year increase, reflecting encouraging operational improvements."

He added:

"With 122,634 gold equivalent ounces sold in the first half of 2026, we have strong confidence in our full-year trajectory, and we are pleased to raise the top end of our 2026 consolidated production guidance to 240,000 ounces. The fundamentals of our business, disciplined operations, a growing and increasingly productive asset base, and a robust gold price environment, position Mineros well to continue delivering value for our shareholders."

Milestones and Next Steps

Both of Mineros' core operations, Hemco in Nicaragua and Nechí in Colombia, recorded year-over-year gold sales growth in the second quarter, supporting the company's decision to raise full-year guidance. Hemco's progress toward its targeted processing capacity of 2,500 tonnes per day by year end remains a key operational milestone, alongside continued ore supply from Bonanza Mining Partners and stable output from the Nechí Property through the remainder of 2026.
