OutCrop Silver & Gold (OCG) - Drilling High Grade Silver Veins in Colombia

Interview with Joe Hebert, President & CEO of OutCrop Silver & Gold (TSX-V: OCG)
Outcrop Silver and Gold Corp. is a junior Canadian exploration and mining company, focused on the exploration and advancement of its precious metal projects located in Columbia. The company also aims to expand its asset portfolio into various other high-opportunity jurisdictions in the future. The company’s asset portfolio consists of the Santa Ana, Mallama, Antares, Oribella and Argelia projects in Columbia.
Outcrop Silver & Gold (OCG) is focused on its flagship project, the Santa Ana silver and gold project which is a 100%-owned, 36,000-hectare land package in the Tolima Department of Columbia. The project boasts as the highest-grade silver project in the country, as revealed by the company's recent maiden resource publication with mineralisation previously encountered including 14 kg/ton of silver over 1.4 m and 10.8 kg/ton of silver equivalent (AgEq) over 1.0 m.

Overview of the drilling specifics
The mining width in Colombia is around 2.2 meters and can be up to 2.4 meters, and mining is entirely mechanized, which is similar to some of the equipment sizes used by Silver Grass. The company is expanding inferred resources through drilling and aims to produce 22-24k meters with financing of $4.7m and 1200 silver equivalent ounces per meter. Drilling provides knowledge of the character and variability of the shoots, and the goal is to drill for more ounces per meter to open up new targets.

Metallurgy is consistent across all shoots, with 90% free gold, but the gold to silver ratio varies slightly along different shoots. The company is raising $6 million for drilling, and there is good demand from investors.
The indicated category is a de-risker, and management is a true risk of the project. However, 30% of the shareholder base participated in the last raise, and the return of people with faith in management in a high-grade project is promising.

Mining in Colombia
Colombia has idle rigs available for drilling, and the terrain is man-portable, with hand-built platforms, trails, and retention ponds. Environmental regulations have not substantially changed, with only two reporting requirements after obtaining an environmental permit. The country has good community support and favorable government policies for mining. Social license and navigating hurdles is important for success in Colombia.
