Cassiar Gold Corp. (TSXV: GLDC) (OTCQX: CGLCF) is a Canadian mineral exploration company holding a 100% interest in the Cassiar Gold Property in northern British Columbia, covering 590 square kilometres across two project areas. Cassiar North hosts the Taurus deposit with an indicated mineral resource of 8.8 million tonnes at 1.43 g/t gold for 410,000 ounces and an inferred resource of 63.2 million tonnes at 0.95 g/t gold for 1.93 million ounces. Cassiar South contains numerous gold showings and historical workings that produced over 315,000 ounces at average grades between 10 and 20 g/t gold.
Taurus Deposit High-Grade Drill Results
The 2025 drilling programme at Taurus tested the deposit margins with nine drill holes across a 1.3-kilometre corridor. Drill hole 25TA-245 in the Taurus East area returned 13.4 metres of 13.53 g/t gold starting at 28.2 metres depth. This interval included 210.71 g/t gold over 0.8 metres and 369.00 g/t gold over 0.4 metres, with visible gold observed in quartz veining.
Additional results included drill hole 25TA-242 at Sable, which intersected 21.9 metres of 2.81 g/t gold from 45.8 metres downhole. This interval contained multiple higher-grade zones, including 20.30 g/t gold over 0.3 metres. Drill hole 25TA-238 in the Southwest area intersected three separate mineralised zones, with the highest-grade interval returning 27.18 g/t gold over 0.9 metres, including 59.50 g/t gold over 0.4 metres with visible gold.
Marco Roque, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated:
"Confirming continuity and establishing extensions of near-surface higher-grade mineralisation in the Taurus East, Southwest, and Sable areas demonstrates that this well-established foundational resource can continue to grow."
The company reported that 91% of ounces in the current resource occur within 150 metres of surface.
Mineralisation Extension Results
The drilling programme positioned holes as step-outs from 30 to 110 metres beyond previous drilling to test mineralisation extensions. All nine drill holes intersected gold mineralisation above the 0.4 g/t cutoff used in the current mineral resource estimate. The intercepts extended the known mineralised footprint in multiple directions from the existing resource block model.
In the Taurus East sector, drill hole 25TA-244 intersected 27.3 metres of 0.65 g/t gold from 88.4 metres downhole, including 1.1 metres at 4.42 g/t gold. Drill hole 25TA-243 returned 3.6 metres of 1.48 g/t gold from 61.2 metres, including 0.5 metres at 7.08 g/t gold. These results extended mineralisation to the east and south of previous drilling.
Jill Maxwell, VP Exploration, stated:
"Our drilling continues to delineate and extend new higher-grade trends within and adjacent to the Taurus deposit. We continue to intersect visible gold in structures across the deposit, with opportunity to identify new trends and advance higher-grade domains along-strike and down-dip in future programmes."
Taurus Southwest and Sable Area Results
Drill hole 25TA-239 in the Central area returned 7.56 g/t gold over 2.0 metres, including 19.55 g/t gold over 0.4 metres and 9.14 g/t gold over 0.8 metres. This hole followed up on 2024 drilling that encountered 184.50 g/t gold over 0.3 metres within a broader 21.9-metre interval averaging 3.18 g/t gold. The 2025 results confirmed continuity of mineralisation in this area.
At Sable, drill hole 25TA-240 encountered five separate mineralised intervals. The most significant returned 9.8 metres of 1.08 g/t gold from 70.5 metres, including 0.5 metres at 6.79 g/t gold. Drill hole 25TA-242 intersected 16.0 metres of 0.84 g/t gold from 123.0 metres, including 3.1 metres at 2.72 g/t gold. These results extended mineralisation eastward from previous drilling at Sable.
The drilling tested interpreted extensions of mineralised quartz veins along northeast and east-northeast trending structures. The company reported that mineralisation remains open for expansion along strike and down-dip from the current drilling. All drill holes were designed to intersect known mineralisation corridors at moderate to high angles based on previous drilling and structural mapping.
Programme Status and Next Steps
Cassiar Gold completed 7,308 metres of drilling across 20 drill holes during the 2025 exploration programme, which concluded in early October. Results remain pending for 5,243 metres over 11 drill holes from the Newcoast regional prospect, located 2 kilometres south of Taurus. The technical team is evaluating the distribution of high-grade results to refine target interpretations for future programmes and regional targeting efforts.
