The event followed a revised Queensway study that lifted after-tax net present value at a 5% discount rate (NPV5%) to C$1.7 billion, and a third-quarter production update from Hammerdown. On the same day, Chairman Paul Andre Huet, Chief Executive Officer Keith Boyle, President Melissa Render, members of the Board of Directors and the executive team joined the Toronto Stock Exchange to open the market after graduating to the exchange.

The Queensway Numbers Released Days Earlier

On October 22, 2026, New Found Gold released a revised preliminary economic assessment and an updated mineral resource estimate for Queensway. The study returned an after-tax NPV5% of C$1.7 billion and an internal rate of return of 126%, based on a gold price of US$3,600 per ounce. Measured and Indicated mineral resources increased by 38%. Initial capital costs are estimated at C$150 million, and the company describes Phase 1 as fully funded. Phase 1 is planned as an open pit operation with an average head grade of 13.41 grams of gold per tonne. The company has completed a C$220 million financing package. The study is preliminary, and Queensway has not defined any Mineral Reserves.

Hammerdown Production Update

Hammerdown, which achieved commercial production on August 19, 2026, produced 4,863 ounces of gold in the third quarter of 2026 and sold 6,035 ounces at an average realized price of US$4,310 per ounce. The company anticipates a life-of-mine run rate of 20,000 to 25,000 ounces of gold per year at all-in sustaining costs of approximately US$2,500 per ounce.

Next Steps

New Found Gold is targeting the release of its third-quarter 2026 financial and operating results after market close on November 11, 2026.
