Revival Gold Completes 2026 Infill Drilling Programme at Mercur

Revival Gold has finished its planned infill drilling at Mercur, Utah, with results consistent with 2025 PEA estimates and feeding into a Q1 2027 PFS.

  • Revival Gold Inc. completed approximately 10,000 metres of infill drilling across 100 reverse circulation holes at its Mercur Gold Project in Utah.
  • The programme targets upgrading Inferred resources to the Measured and Indicated categories, supporting a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) due by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
  • Results from 17 newly reported holes include 1.82 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 29 metres and 1.32 g/t gold over 45.7 metres.
  • Drilling continues with three rigs on site, with an additional 8,000 metres of exploration, geotechnical, hydrological, and metallurgical drilling planned to complete an 18,000 metre programme for the year.
  • Results from about 70 remaining infill holes are expected over the coming months.

Revival Gold Inc. (TSXV: RVG) (OTCQX: RVLGF) is a Canada-based gold mine developer focused on the United States, advancing the Mercur Gold Project in Utah and conducting exploration at the Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project in Idaho. The company is headquartered in Toronto, with a US exploration and development office in Salmon, Idaho.

Completion of 10,000 Metre Infill Drilling Programme

Revival Gold has completed its planned infill drilling at Mercur for the year, totalling approximately 10,000 metres across 100 reverse circulation holes. The programme is intended to move a portion of the project's Inferred mineral resources into the Measured and Indicated categories. Results from the first thirteen holes were released in July, and the company has now reported findings from a further seventeen holes located in the South Mercur and Main Mercur areas.

Resource category upgrades reflect the level of geological confidence attached to an estimate of how much gold a project contains. Measured and Indicated resources carry a higher degree of confidence than Inferred resources and are the categories typically required to support a feasibility level study. Revival Gold has stated that the infill drilling results are intended to feed into the PFS it expects to complete by the end of the first quarter of 2027.

Results from the remaining approximately 70 infill holes drilled to date are expected to be released over the coming months.

Infill Results Including 1.82 g/t Gold Over 29 Metres and 1.32 g/t Gold Over 45.7 Metres

Among the seventeen newly reported holes, intercepts include 1.82 g/t gold over 29 metres in hole RM26-180, 1.32 g/t gold over 45.7 metres in hole RM26-193, 0.90 g/t gold over 54.9 metres in hole RM26-201, and 0.75 g/t gold over 44.2 metres in hole RM26-192. In a heap leach project such as Mercur, wide zones of continuous, lower grade mineralisation are the type of result typically sought, as this material is processed at lower cost than material requiring milling.

The release also reports on leachability, meaning how readily gold can be extracted from the rock through a heap leach process. This is assessed through the ratio of cyanide soluble gold to total gold recovered by fire assay, with a higher ratio indicating greater potential recoverability through leaching. The company states that grades and these ratios from the infill programme remain consistent with the assumptions used in the 2025 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). The release also notes potential expansion opportunities in heap leachable material beyond the current PEA mine plan.

President and CEO Hugh Agro said:

"Revival Gold's Mercur project team has made excellent progress with infill drilling this year. Gold grades, cyanide soluble to fire assay ratios, and encountered geology continue to support Revival Gold's expectations for the project coming out of last year's PEA."

Additional 8,000 Metres of Exploration, Geotechnical, Hydrological, and Metallurgical Drilling Planned Ahead of Q1 2027 PFS

With infill drilling complete, the remaining portion of the 2026 programme is expected to add about 8,000 metres of drilling, bringing the year's total to approximately 18,000 metres. This includes roughly 2,500 metres of RC drilling and 1,200 metres of auger drilling to pursue resource expansion opportunities, along with 4,100 metres of geotechnical, hydrological, and metallurgical drilling.

Geotechnical drilling evaluates ground stability, hydrological drilling assesses groundwater conditions, and metallurgical drilling supports testing of how the ore responds to processing. This data is intended to inform the PFS. Three drill rigs remain active at Mercur as this work continues.

President and CEO Hugh Agro added:

"Indeed, with an average hole depth of only 100 meters, and indications of open structures east and west and at depth across the deposit, the infill program has increased our enthusiasm for the company's future exploration drilling plans scheduled for later this year and into next."

Milestones & Next Steps

Results from the remaining approximately 70 infill holes are expected over the coming months, followed by an updated mineral resource estimate reflecting the planned Measured and Indicated upgrade. Geotechnical, hydrological, and metallurgical drilling will continue alongside this work, with all data feeding into the Preliminary Feasibility Study targeted for completion by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
