Bonterra Resources Hits High-Grade Gold at Barry Project and Provides Operational Updates

Val-d'Or-based Bonterra Resources Inc. (TSX-V: BTR, OTCQX: BONXF), a Canadian gold exploration and development company, announced additional high-grade drill results from its Barry underground gold project located in Quebec. The latest results included intercepts of 8.2 g/t gold over 8.2 meters and 7.2 g/t gold over 3.7 meters, further demonstrating the continuity of high-grade mineralization in the 800 Zone to depths over 200 meters.
The new results are part of an extensive 31,349-meter infill and expansion drilling program aimed at upgrading the project's 500,000 ounces of Measured and Indicated resources to support a future underground mining operation. With the Barry deposit remaining open at depth and along strike, Bonterra is well-positioned to continue expanding the resource.
In addition to the strong drill results, Bonterra provided updates on several cost-saving initiatives and revenue-generation activities. This includes implementing a new shift schedule to reduce camp costs by 50%, generating over $400,000 from leasing out its Bachelor camp, and undertaking mill cleaning to recover residual gold from past production.
According to Marc André Pelletier, President and CEO, "Several revenue-generating and cost-cutting initiatives are currently underway to bolster our operations and facilitate our renewed focus on exploration in the Urban-Barry camp." He added, "We share the same belief as our neighbours, Gold Fields and Osisko Mining, in the untapped potential for new discoveries within the Urban-Barry camp."
With over 1.2 million ounces of gold resources, an operational mill, and located in a proven mining district, Bonterra offers an attractive opportunity for investors seeking exposure to resource development and exploration upside. As drilling continues and the company implements further optimizations, Bonterra is poised to advance its projects towards production.
