Greenheart Gold Launches Drilling Operations at Majorodam and Tamakay Projects

Explorer reports high-grade channel sample results and provides exploration updates across Suriname and Guyana portfolio

  • Drilling commenced at Majorodam (Suriname) and Tamakay (Guyana) projects in August 2025
  • Channel sampling at Majorodam returned 18 metres at 6.39 g/t Au, including 4 metres at 24.07 g/t Au
  • Five prospects identified at Igab project through grid soil sampling programmes
  • Definitive option agreement signed for Igab project with total payments of US$3.4 million over four years
  • Tim Stubley appointed as Senior Manager, Exploration

Greenheart Gold Inc. (TSXV: GHRT) (OTCQX: GHRTF) is an exploration company operating within the Guiana Shield geological terrain in Guyana and Suriname. The company's management team includes former executives from Reunion Gold, which discovered the Oko West deposit in Guyana.

The company holds a portfolio of early-stage exploration projects targeting orogenic gold deposits across the region. Greenheart Gold applies systematic exploration methods to advance prospects from initial sampling through drill testing phases.

Active Drilling Programmes and Channel Sample Results

Diamond drilling began at the Majorodam project in Suriname on 15 August 2025, with the first drill hole completed at the Heuvel Prospect. The Phase 2 programme comprises 2,500 metres and follows up on previous reverse circulation drilling results. Three holes totalling 610 metres have been completed to date.

Channel sampling of a roadcut between two drill target areas returned 18 metres at 6.39 g/t Au, including a quartz vein grading 4 metres at 24.07 g/t Au. The roadcut is located along an 800-metre trend between previously reported drill holes MAJR25-003 (6 metres at 9.34 g/t Au) and MAJR25-010 (30 metres at 2.06 g/t Au).

At the Tamakay project in Guyana, a 1,200-metre Phase 1 diamond drilling programme commenced in mid-August 2025. The programme targets gold-bearing quartz veins identified through previous artisanal mining activities, testing for down-dip continuity and potential stacked vein systems.

Multi-Project Exploration and Target Development

Grid soil sampling at the Igab project in Suriname has defined five prospects: Lemon Tree, Samansu, Morko, Koela, and Cannibal Creek. Sampling utilised a 400-metre line spacing with infill to 200 metres, applying a threshold of 100 parts per billion gold based on regional exploration experience.

The Lemon Tree prospect includes a previously reported channel sample of 31 metres at 1.36 g/t Au from a sheared granite outcrop. An additional 50 metres of outcrop has been exposed to the northeast, with sample results pending. Drilling at Lemon Tree and nearby quartz vein targets is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025.

A drone magnetics survey is underway at Igab to support geological interpretation. At Majorodam, a high-resolution drone survey with 50-metre line spacing has been completed over the Heuvel targets, adding detail to previous 150-metre spaced surveys.

Corporate Developments and Project Agreements

The definitive option agreement for the Igab project was executed on 1 September 2025 with IGAB N.V., the mineral rights holder. The four-year agreement requires option payments totalling US$3.4 million: US$400,000 by the first anniversary, US$1 million by the second anniversary, and US$2 million by the third anniversary, plus contingent considerations based on future reserves and production.

Tim Stubley has been appointed Senior Manager, Exploration, bringing 15 years of mineral exploration experience. Stubley previously served as Principal Geologist and Project Manager for the Kerr-Addison project in Ontario, overseeing a 150-kilometre resource drilling programme.

CEO Justin van der Toorn stated:

"We are very pleased to welcome Tim to Greenheart Gold where he will be overseeing the Company's operations across our exploration projects in Suriname and Guyana."

Next Steps and Operational Timeline

Current drilling programmes at Majorodam and Tamakay are ongoing, with results expected from completed holes. The Igab project drilling programme is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2025, beginning with the Lemon Tree prospect and adjacent quartz vein targets. Drone magnetics survey results at Igab will be incorporated into geological interpretation to refine drill targeting.
