A 20,000-Meter Season Aims Tudor Gold's Rigs at a Maiden Perfectstorm Resource

Tudor Gold expects more than 20,000 meters of drilling in 2026 at Treaty Creek, up from an 8,000 to 10,000-meter plan, aiming for a maiden Perfectstorm resource.

  • Tudor Gold expects its 2026 Treaty Creek program to finish north of 20,000 meters (m), against a plan of 8,000 to 10,000 m.
  • Three drills are working the Perfectstorm Zone, aiming to drill enough of the PSP Zone porphyry to support a maiden resource before the weather closes the season.
  • One of the latest holes extended gold-dominant mineralization more than 480 m down-dip of earlier drilling.
  • Drilling may not return to the CBS Zone this year.
  • Assay results were expected to keep arriving almost through to Christmas.

What Has Happened

Tudor Gold (TSXV: TUD) expects its 2026 exploration program at the 80%-owned Treaty Creek Project to finish north of 20,000 meters (m). The total could come close to 25,000 m if the weather does not intervene at the project, which lies in the Golden Triangle of northwestern British Columbia. The company started the season with a plan of 8,000 to 10,000 m, to be adjusted depending on results.

As of October 15, 2026, 3 drills were active at the Perfectstorm Zone, with roughly another month of drilling ahead. The PSP Zone, a recently discovered copper-gold porphyry system, lies about 1 kilometer (km) southwest of the Goldstorm Deposit at its closest point. The goal is to drill enough holes in it to deliver a maiden resource before the weather ends the program.

A Program Sized by Results

Without the results it liked, the company would probably have stopped at the original plan. Management now regards 20,000 to 25,000 m as not unreasonable for the season. President and Chief Executive Officer of Tudor Gold, Joseph Ovsenek, ties the larger program directly to what the drills have been hitting:

"We're into something, and we think it's going to be big, and so, we're pushing as hard as we can."

The added meters are going to Perfectstorm, where the 3 drills are focused on priority target areas identified by recent results. The company wants to develop another resource, a second deposit on the property. A mineral resource estimate (MRE) for an additional deposit at Treaty Creek is among its open plans for 2026, alongside completing the 2026 drill program.

What the Latest Perfectstorm Holes Show

Results from 4 holes were reported on October 14, 2026. The hole designed to test down-dip continuity extended gold-dominant mineralization in the PSP Zone more than 480 m down-dip of previous drilling, meaning further down the slope of the mineralized body. It returned 0.98 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 3.29 g/t silver over 31.80 m from 646.90 m downhole. Deeper in the same hole, it returned 15.05 g/t gold and 5.33 g/t silver over 1.50 m from 913.50 m. Another hole returned 0.85 g/t gold and 2.94 g/t silver over 96.30 m from 264.30 m. A third returned 0.22 g/t gold, 1.42 g/t silver, 0.19% copper, and 25.10 parts per million molybdenum over 59.50 m from 141.00 m.

Three of the holes returned consistent gold, silver, copper, and molybdenum values in a potassic-altered diorite, a body of intrusive rock altered by potassium-rich fluids that forms the porphyry. The porphyry intrusive is located between higher-grade intervals of gold-dominant mineralization, a pattern similar to that of the neighboring Goldstorm Deposit. The system now extends approximately 850 by 750 m and is open in all directions. Further porphyry drilling is aimed at long intersections of consistent grade that a mine model can be built around.

Near-surface, the PSE Zone is a gold-dominant epithermal system, a type of mineralization formed at shallow depths by hot fluids. It now covers an area of approximately 600 m by 300 m, with a thickness of 25 m to more than 100 m. One hole returned 1.16 g/t gold and 13.92 g/t silver over 25.50 m from 238.50 m. All intervals are drilled lengths, and true widths have not been determined. Further drilling is required to establish the orientation of the mineralized body and its true widths.

Drilling Priority Shifts From CBS to Perfectstorm

Drilling at the CBS Zone had not yet found the core of its mineralization, with 5,078 m drilled to date as of October 2026. The company may not get back to it this year. Ovsenek explains why the drills are staying at Perfectstorm:

"Well, we're into an ore body up at Perfectstorm. So, we're not going to walk away from it."

The program still gives the PSE Zone some focus alongside the PSP Zone, though management finds it a little harder to string together than the porphyry. As of October 2026, Perfectstorm had 21,119 m drilled to date across all programs, compared with more than 190,000 m at Goldstorm.

Broader Context

The PSP Zone lies along the northeast-southwest trending Sulphurets corridor, which hosts multiple porphyry deposits and prospects. It is about 4 km northeast of Seabridge Gold's Iron Cap Deposit, 1 of 5 deposits at the neighboring KSM property. Treaty Creek has 1 deposit defined to date, Goldstorm, with Indicated Mineral Resources of 24.9 million ounces (Moz) of gold, 148.7 Moz of silver, and 3.048 billion pounds of copper.

The surrounding district hosts producing and past-producing mines and several large deposits approaching potential development, including Newmont Corporation's Brucejack Mine, 20 km south of Treaty Creek. Management compares the PSP Zone to a Seabridge-type deposit with gold, copper, silver, and molybdenum, a different style from the existing Goldstorm Deposit.

What to Watch Next

As of October 15, 2026, holes from Perfectstorm were at the lab, with another batch of results expected in 2 to 3 weeks and assays from the porphyry expected to run through almost to Christmas. Ovsenek points to the lab's workload as regional drilling winds down:

"The lab is starting to pick up a little bit because a lot of the drilling's tailing off in the area."

Samples are prepared in Terrace and assayed in Langley, British Columbia, by MSA Labs, which is independent of the company and uses PhotonAssay, a gold assay method based on high-energy X-rays.

The final meterage and the porphyry assays are the next measures of progress toward the MRE for an additional deposit in the company's 2026 plan.

FAQs (AI-Generated)

How much drilling does Tudor Gold expect to complete at Treaty Creek in 2026? +

Tudor Gold expects its 2026 program to finish north of 20,000 m, possibly approaching 25,000 m if the weather does not intervene. The company started the season with a plan of 8,000 to 10,000 m.

Why did the program grow? +

The program expanded because recent results justified additional drilling. The added meters are going to Perfectstorm, where three drills are focused on priority target areas identified by recent results.

What is the goal of the Perfectstorm drilling? +

The goal is to drill enough holes in the PSP Zone, a recently discovered copper-gold porphyry system, to deliver a maiden resource before the weather ends the program. An MRE for an additional deposit at Treaty Creek is among the company's open plans for 2026.

What did the latest Perfectstorm holes show? +

One of the latest four holes extended gold-dominant mineralization in the PSP Zone more than 480 m down-dip of previous drilling. The system now extends approximately 850 by 750 m and remains open in all directions.

What happens to the CBS Zone? +

Drilling at the CBS Zone had not yet found the core of its mineralization, with 5,078 m drilled to date as of October 2026. The company may not return to the zone this year.
