Revival Gold Reports High-Grade Results at Joss, Scales Up Its Idaho Drilling Programme

Revival Gold's Joss area drill hole returned 6.4 g/t gold over 19 metres, prompting the company to expand its Idaho drilling programme to 4,900 metres.

  • Drill hole BT26-252D returned 5.4 g/t gold over 32.6 metres, including 6.4 g/t gold over 19.1 metres and a peak of 8.0 g/t gold over 4.3 metres, at 568 metres below surface in the Joss area.
  • The result is a 100-metre step-out to the south of the last hole drilled in this area in 2022, with the company noting the intercept demonstrates the robust continuity of the system.
  • Two additional completed holes, BT26-251DA and BT26-253D, have intersected the same target structure, with assay results pending.
  • On these results, the drilling programme has been expanded to 4,900 metres with two rigs active, and further extensions are under consideration.
  • The Joss area holds an existing underground resource of 877,000 ounces of gold not included in the company's 2023 open pit feasibility study, representing a potential third phase of development.

Revival Gold Inc. (TSXV: RVG | OTCQX: RVLGF) is a Toronto-based junior mining company focused on exploring and developing gold projects in the United States. The company is advancing the Mercur Gold Project in Utah and conducting active exploration at the Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project in Idaho, with a US operations office in Salmon, Idaho.

High-Grade Drilling Results and Underground Resource Expansion at Joss

On 20 April 2026, Revival Gold released the first drill results from the Joss area at its Beartrack-Arnett Project in Idaho. Drill hole BT26-252D returned 5.4 g/t gold (grams of gold per tonne of rock) over 32.6 metres of drilled width. Within that interval, the highest-grade section returned 6.4 g/t gold over 19.1 metres and a shorter peak of 8.0 g/t gold over 4.3 metres, at approximately 568 metres below surface. The hole was sampled and assayed within a 46.8-metre zone covering the strongest alteration across the shear zone.

The Joss area hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource, an early-stage resource estimate, of 6.75 million tonnes at 4.05 g/t gold, totalling 877,000 ounces. This resource was not included in Revival Gold's 2023 Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS), which assessed an open pit, heap leach operation at Beartrack-Arnett.

President, CEO and Director Hugh Agro stated:

"The underground target at Beartrack-Arnett is shaping up to be one of the most promising gold exploration opportunities in the United States. Already a Top 10 new discovery this decade, step-out holes in the current drilling programme at Joss have extended the mineralised zone and highlight the impressive scale of this deposit over 1.2 km of known strike and 700 meters of vertical elevation to-date."

Drilling Programme Expansion and Additional Holes in Progress

Following the BT26-252D results, Revival Gold expanded its drilling programme to 4,900 metres of planned core drilling, with two rigs operating on site. The company is also evaluating further extensions to the programme beyond the current plan.

Two additional holes, BT26-251DA and BT26-253D, have been completed and have both intersected the Panther Creek Shear Zone (PCSZ), the main structural feature controlling gold mineralisation at Beartrack-Arnett. BT26-251DA hit the shear zone approximately 85 metres below a 2022 historic hole, while BT26-253D intersected the structure around 80 metres south of BT26-252D. Assay results for both holes are pending. The company notes that intersecting the shear zone does not necessarily indicate the presence or abundance of gold mineralisation within the structure.

At the time of the release, two further holes were in progress. The mineralised system at Joss has a known strike length of over 1.2 kilometres and a vertical extent of 700 metres, as outlined by the company.

Underground Mining Potential and Production Target Development

The geometry of the Joss ore body is a feature the company has highlighted as part of its development planning. The mineralised zone dips nearly vertically, and the estimated true widths within the target interval in BT26-252D range between 12 and 16 metres. According to management, this geometry presents the possibility for lower-cost underground mining techniques.

President, CEO and Director Hugh Agro added:

"The near vertical dip, together with true widths of 12-16 meters in the mineralized zone in BT26-252D, present the possibility for lower cost underground mining techniques. Adding an underground study to the Beartrack-Arnett open pit heap leach restart project would create a third phase of development for Revival Gold and move the company closer to our target of 300,000 gold ounces per year of gold production from our current assets."

The 300,000-ounce annual production target referenced by Mr. Agro draws on Revival Gold's existing project portfolio, which includes the Beartrack-Arnett open pit project and the Mercur Gold Project in Utah. An underground study at Joss, if pursued, would be a separate workstream from the open pit restart already assessed in the 2023 PFS.

Outlook

The immediate milestones ahead include assay results from BT26-251DA and BT26-253D, as well as results from the two holes still in progress at the time of this release. Depending on outcomes, the company may extend the drilling programme beyond its current 4,900-metre plan. Revival Gold has indicated that adding a formal underground study to the Beartrack-Arnett project is under consideration, which would be separate from and additional to the open pit restart documented in the 2023 PFS.
