Omai Gold Reports New Assay Results From Eleven Wenot Drill Holes

Omai Gold's latest drill results from the Wenot deposit include 5.12 g/t Au over 40.5m and 2.68 g/t Au over 40.7m, among intercepts from eleven newly reported holes.
- Eleven new diamond drill holes at the Wenot deposit each intersected multiple gold zones, including 5.12 g/t Au over 40.5m in hole 26ODD-193.
- Hole 26ODD-197W returned 2.68 g/t Au over 40.7m in East Wenot.
- New sediment-hosted gold zones were identified on the southern side of Wenot.
- A 1,438 metre hole tested the depth potential of the Gilt deposit, with assays from the upper section pending.
- The results add to 77 holes completed since the April 2026 resource estimate, to be incorporated into a year-end resource update.
Omai Gold Mines Corp. (TSXV:OMG) (OTCQB:OMGGF) is a Canada-based gold exploration and development company advancing its 100% owned Omai Gold Project in Guyana, South America, which includes the Wenot and Gilt deposits. In April 2026, the company reported a resource update that increased Wenot's Indicated ounces by close to 50% and more than doubled Gilt's Inferred ounces, followed in August 2026 by a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) outlining an 18 year mine plan averaging 351,000 ounces of gold production per year. The project includes an on site airstrip and road access to Georgetown and Linden, Guyana's two largest cities.
Continued High-Grade Wenot Drill Results Including 5.12 g/t Au Over 40.5m in Prolific Dike Corridor Supporting Inferred to Indicated Resource Upgrade
Hole 26ODD-193 intersected 5.12 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) over 40.5 metres, including a higher-grade section of 11.29 g/t Au over 10.4 metres. The intercept is located within the Dike Corridor, a mineralised structural zone that runs through the Wenot deposit. Wenot's open pit resource applies a cut-off grade of 0.3 g/t Au, the minimum grade used to define what is included in the resource estimate.
Other holes in this release also returned gold-bearing intervals. Hole 26ODD-192 intersected 0.97 g/t Au over 35.0 metres, and hole 26ODD-194 returned 5.24 g/t Au over 7.9 metres and 2.20 g/t Au over 14.7 metres.
President and CEO Elaine Ellingham said:
"We are pleased to deliver further strong drill results from Wenot. Drilling is expected to continue through to mid-December with the five rigs."
The company has stated that these results are intended to support converting a portion of Wenot's Inferred resource to the Indicated category. Indicated resources carry a higher level of geological confidence than Inferred resources and are the category typically required for use in feasibility level economic studies.
Multi-Zone Mineralization Confirmed Across Central West and East Wenot Including New Sediment-Hosted Gold Zones Expanding Deposit Footprint
The eleven holes reported span Central, West and East Wenot, and each intersected multiple gold zones. In East Wenot, hole 26ODD-197W returned 2.68 g/t Au over 40.7 metres. In West Wenot, hole 26ODD-190 intersected 3.15 g/t Au over 13.9 metres, including 22.95 g/t Au over 1.4 metres.
The release also reported new sediment-hosted gold zones on the southern side of Wenot, an area outside the volcanic and dike-hosted rock that has defined most of the existing resource. These included 4.61 g/t Au over 9.4 metres in hole 198, 6.54 g/t Au over 3.0 metres in hole 194, and 2.0 g/t Au over 9.8 metres in hole 190.
Ms Ellingham added:
"These new drill results also reinforce our confidence in future expansion of the gold zones on the southern side of the Wenot deposit, within the sedimentary sequence."
The company indicated that results from these zones, together with the broader 2026 drilling program, will be incorporated into its next resource update.
1,438m Gilt Deposit Deep Drill Hole Completed Awaiting Assays Alongside Year-End Resource Update Supporting Feasibility Study Advancement
The company completed hole 26ODD-208 at the Gilt deposit to a downhole depth of 1,438 metres (approximately 1,200 metres vertical depth), to test the deposit's depth extent. Samples from the upper portion of the hole have been submitted for assay, with results pending. Select core samples are also being prepared for metallurgical testing, which measures how efficiently gold can be recovered from the rock during processing.
This hole is part of a 50,000 metre drilling program under way across the project, with five rigs currently active. As of this release, the company has completed 74 holes totalling 35,149 metres in 2026. Separately, 77 additional holes covering 37,077 metres have been drilled since the April 2026 resource estimate and are not yet included in it.
Ms Ellingham stated:
"The results from this program will contribute to our next resource update, planned for completion before year end, and support our objective of advancing the project towards a feasibility study."
Milestones and Next Steps
Following the April 2026 resource update and the August 2026 PEA, Omai Gold has continued drilling at Wenot and Gilt, with five rigs active and drilling expected to continue through mid-December. The company has stated that results from this program, including pending assays from the Gilt deep hole, will be incorporated into a year-end resource update intended to support advancement toward a feasibility study.
