Revival Gold's South Mercur Results Confirm High-Grade Mineralisation Below Current Mine Plan

Revival Gold reports final 2025 Mercur drill results, including 8.0 g/t gold over 12 metres at South Mercur, as a 16,000-metre 2026 programme mobilises.

  • Drill hole RMC25-031 returned 2.8 g/t gold over 74 metres at South Mercur, including 8.0 g/t gold over 12 metres starting at 130 metres downhole.
  • The high-grade intercept confirms one of three identified ore shoots at South Mercur, each considered prospective for exploration at depth.
  • Two drill holes intersected mineralised historical in-pit backfill starting at surface, with results not included in current resource estimates.
  • A 16,000-metre 2026 drill programme is mobilising this month, with data intended to support a Pre-Feasibility Study planned for Q1 2027.
  • Drilling is also ongoing at the Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project in Idaho, targeting high-grade underground material at the Joss zone.

Revival Gold Inc. (TSX-V: RVG; OTCQX: RVLGF) is a Toronto-based, growth-focused gold exploration and development company advancing the Mercur Gold Project in Utah and the Beartrack-Arnett Gold Project in Idaho.

South Mercur Delivers High-Grade Intercept, Confirming Depth Potential

Carlin-style gold deposits are characterised by localised zones, called ore shoots, where gold concentrates along specific structural and rock-type intersections. The Mercur project sits within this deposit type, and historical underground mining at the site in the late 1800s and early 1900s exploited such shoots. Revival Gold's 2025 drilling at South Mercur returned results consistent with this geological setting.

The standout result from the 2025 programme came from drill hole RMC25-031, which returned 2.8 g/t gold over 74 metres, including 8.0 g/t gold over 12 metres starting at 130 metres downhole. The intercept is located just below the planned open-pit design outlined in the 2025 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). The core holes were extended below the PEA design pits to test the interpreted structural controls of the system.

Three ore shoots at South Mercur have been identified as prospective for future exploration at depth.

CEO Hugh Agro commented:

"Carlin style gold systems, like Revival Gold's Mercur, are known to generate high-grade ore shoots that have driven huge amounts of value for the major gold producers in Nevada. As demonstrated with today's 8 g/T gold over 12 meters intercept, Revival Gold is seeing intact high grade zones at South Mercur. The shoots not only benefit our current heap leach project but provide an exciting exploration opportunity on Mercur's large 7,200-hectare property."

Mineralised Historical Backfill at Surface Not Reflected in Current Resource Estimates

During historical open-pit mining, waste rock removed from the pit is commonly placed back into the excavated area, a process known as backfilling. Where this material carries residual gold mineralisation, it is not automatically included in a project's official resource estimate. Revival Gold encountered this at Mercur during the 2025 programme.

Two drill holes intersected mineralised waste rock from historical in-pit backfill starting at surface. Hole RM25-171 returned 0.5 g/t gold over 38 metres from surface, and hole RM25-172 returned 0.4 g/t gold over 17 metres from surface. The company confirmed that this material is not captured in the current mineral resource estimate.

Because the backfill was classified as waste during historical mining operations, these results fall outside the boundaries of any published economic assessment to date. No further characterisation of this material has been reported at this stage, and additional work would be required to determine whether it could be incorporated into a future resource update.

16,000-Metre 2026 Drill Programme Mobilising Ahead of Q1 2027 Pre-Feasibility Study

A Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) is a formal technical and economic assessment that requires a higher level of engineering detail and geological confidence than a Preliminary Economic Assessment. Revival Gold has targeted Q1 2027 for the completion of a PFS at Mercur. Data from the 2026 drill programme is intended to feed directly into that study.

The company is mobilising this month to begin a 16,000-metre combined exploration and engineering drill programme at Mercur. Results from both the 2025 and 2026 campaigns will be used to refine the project's resource model, metallurgical parameters, and engineering inputs. The PFS is described by management as a major milestone on the path to restarting gold production at Mercur.

In parallel, Revival Gold continues to drill at Beartrack-Arnett in Idaho, where the focus is on high-grade underground material at the Joss zone.

CEO Hugh Agro stated:

"These are the final results from 2025. The Company plans to resume drilling at Mercur later this month and the drills continue to turn at Beartrack-Arnett in Idaho targeting high-grade underground material at Joss. 2026 should be a big year for Revival Gold."

Milestones and Next Steps

With all 115 holes from the 2025 Mercur programme now reported, Revival Gold's near-term focus is on the 2026 drill campaign at Mercur and continued drilling at Beartrack-Arnett in Idaho. The company's stated milestones include completing the 16,000-metre programme at Mercur and delivering the Pre-Feasibility Study in Q1 2027, which is designed to advance the project toward a production restart decision.
